Decent vegan fish n chips - Edit
Very decent fish and chips. I got the regular cod and chips with a side of tartar sauce. There’s a 5% gratuity fee added which brought the total up to just over £13

Great ‘fish’, even better chips - Edit
Had the cod and chips with tartare sauce and curry sauce. All of it was delicious. I’d say the cod isn’t how I remembered cod in terms of texture but it tasted great. The triple-cooked chips were standout. So much better than the often greasy, soggy chips you get from a regular chippy. The curry sauce was excellent and complemented the chips perfectly.
Read moreAs for portion size, I’m usually a massive gannet (nickname: ‘the human dustbin’) and felt full (in a good way) even 7 hours after having had the regular cod and chips, to the extent that I ended up having a really light dinner.
Pros: Totally vegan with plenty of choice, Nice vibe, Friendly staff
Cons: Could do with more tables to eat in, More choice of drinks would be nice

Absolutely blown away - Edit
We were genuinely shocked at how great the fish and chips were. I've never really been a fan of vegan fish alternatives so wasn't sure if it would be my thing, but quite honestly this could be the best food I've had in Brighton. We went as a group of 4 and the two non-vegans were equally impressed by their food.
Read moreI had the regular Vegan Cod & Chips with mushy peas on the side. Perfection. 100% will be back.

Onion and garlic and gluten free options! - Edit
Honestly, going to No Catch for the first time was very exciting for myself and my life-long veggie friends. It really does feel like the real deal! The menu has a good selection of options and the “fish” really is good, and quite convincing! The chips are super chunky, the portions are large (even the regular is more than enough) and there’s a range of sauces to choose from. Plus the staff are friendly and it’s got a nice vibe.
Read moreOnly downside is that the food is quite oily and sits quite heavily on the stomach (thrice fried chips) although that’s probably to be expected. Fish and chips was never meant to be healthy, eh? A massive added bonus is the gluten-free option, which doesn’t contain any onion or garlic (for you Hare Krishnas/Jains/Buddhists/Toaists out there).
Pros: Gluten-free options, Big portions, NHS and student discounts
Cons: A bit too oily

Highly Impressive - Edit
In addition to the fantastic cod and calamari, the chips were lovely, as were the mushy peas and the tartare sauce. This was an amazing experience from start to finish , especially as it was my first ever vegan restaurant meal! Top marks. Thank you so much.

Excellent food - Edit
I had decided before I arrived that I wanted fish and chips for lunch. This is a nice place just across the road from the beach. A seaside town that doesn’t make you feel left out as a vegan. I got chips, tofish and the prawns. The chips were thick and crispy. I loved the tofish, perfect flavour and texture and the prawns were good as well. There is space to sit inside. The staff member serving was absolutely lovely. It would be a regular thing if I lived in Brighton

All vegan fish and chip shop - what’s not to like? - Edit
We love this place. The vegan fish and chips are delicious. They also offer just about every option you would find at a standard fish and chip shop - battered saveloy, battered prawns, mushy peas etc etc.

Highly recommend - Edit
The staff are really lovely and the Tofish is the best vegan fish I’ve had!
Read moreI tried calamari, popcorn prawns and tofish bites with chips, all were good. I would most recommend the Tofish bites as they’re fantastic, popcorn prawns are very nice but potentially could have a little more seasoning or spice to them, the calamari is also very nice but would be boring without a dip. Chips are also a winner.
Although not as cheap as a regular fish and chip shop the atmosphere is nice, the portions are generous and the young lady working while I visited was really nice.
Definitely stop by to try it out if you’re by the beach
Pros: Best imitation fish I’ve had, Nice staff, Good portion sizes
Cons: Small range of drinks , Extra sauces are charged
