You have to go here!!! - Edit
Without a doubt giving this place 5 stars. We had cod goujons, battered sausage and chips, then deep fried oreo for dessert. And it was absolutely incredible! I have never come across a vegan fish and chip shop in the UK so this place is one of a kind. Being a seaside girl, I always loved going to the chip shop, so this was an experience aswell as eating the most tasty food!

Tofish goujons! - Edit
Have been wanting to try this place for ages! Smoked tofish was unavailable (it was 12:40, they’d been open 10 minutes) so he suggested the tofish goujons instead, basically the same but in strips and not smoked. We couldn’t sit in as there are only about 8 tables inside and they were all full, so we walked the 10 mins back to our hotel. The packaging for takeout was impressive and the food was still piping hot!

Wow! - Edit
I’ve never actually had fish and chips before going vegan, so I don’t have much to compare it to—but as a Norwegian, I do know my fish, and I really miss it. This was seriously good.
Read moreThe vegan fish and chips were fantastic—generous portion size, with the standard menu offering four pieces of fish and a ton of chips (or fries, as I’d say). I tried it with both the spicy sauce and tartare, and also added a side of calamari rings. Honestly, the calamari was so close to the real thing I was almost shocked.
The service was super friendly and helpful, especially for someone who’s never eaten traditional fish and chips—they even showed me how to use the sauces and condiments. The restaurant itself was small and cozy, but it somehow managed to fit everyone comfortably.
All in all: 10 out of 10. Totally recommend this place—vegan or not, I think everyone will leave happy.

Better than a traditional fish & chips, more flavour, crispy and perfect portions.
A great vibe.
Love everything they stand for.

Tasty! - Edit
Felt such a rare treat to find fish and chips that are vegan - friendly service (apologetic for not having a couple of dishes but helped guide us to choose an alternative). Really tasty. Great thick triple cooked chips, flavourful mushy peas and curry sauce. Can vouch for the vegan shrimp - which is soya based.

Best fysh and chips I’ve ever had! - Edit
I am currently travelling around the UK and have been hoping to eat a proper chippy with curry sauce and all the fixings that’s vegan. This place went above and beyond! It was sooooooo delish! The tofish and battered sausages were to die for. Everything was well priced for the serving size. I am planning to go back before leaving Brighton to try the calamari and jumbo prawn. 11/10 it is worth the trip to Brighton just to eat here!

The real deal - Edit
Took my Dutch girlfriend who'd never had a chippy before and it didn't disappoint. She was impressed by the haddock and I had the saveloy with mushy peas, which was spot on. Chips are mahoosive and the portions equally so.

yuck - Edit
the chips were good i'll give them that but we also tried the battered sausage, battered saveloy, and calamari. the sausage was just a battered richmond sausage and tasted overpoweringly so, the saveloy was oily and flavourless, and the calamari was also flavourless and like eating a lego tire. the curry sauce was good.

Visited on a busy Friday night, they were out of “fish” products so we went for the sausage, which exceeded all expectations. I took my friends who are not vegan and they ordered the calamari, were really impressed and said they would return. Brilliant atmosphere and service. Chips are great.

Delicious and flavorful! - Edit
The food is delicious! The flavors are so nuanced. We had the vegan cod and chips with tartare and aioli sauces, and the fried Oreos for dessert. Everything was delicious. Just keep in mind that there is a lot of grease in the food so if you're sensitive to that, pace yourself, haha!

Good but not fantastic - Edit
Unfortunately when I went they didn't have neither cod or haddock available which is a shame as I really wanted to try one of those. Everything was good, but saveloy just isn't my thing.

Brilliant customer service (even at 5 to closing time) Had to order takeaway but they offer gluten free (although they do share the frier so no good for severe coeliacs). Dog friendly too 😁 #Veganuary

finally got round to trying this a couple months ago and was not disappointed- the cod was gorg, and while the chips weren’t your traditional “fish and chips” chips, they were crispy outside fluffy within.

Great Vegan Fish and Chips Place - Edit
Loved experiencing a vegan fish and chip shop right by the sea 😍 Delicious vegan cod, and the chips were crispy/ fluffy so they were perfect! I liked how they had a vinegar on each table. My bf had the battered vegan sausage as a side which he loved, and I had UNREAL vegan calamari.

This place is nice and the fish is very tasty but I was disappointed by the chips. They were nice but not the classic fish and chip shop chips I’d been hoping for.
