Best Tofish I’ve ever had

The food was really tasty, the tofish was especially good and the chips were thick and fluffy. There weren’t many drinks to chose from and limited sauces though, both times I have been there hasn’t been ketchup? Maybe it’s a north south thing but ketchup feels like a must for fish and chips. The staff were really friendly and would definitely come back again and try the other options available, as all sounded so good!

Out of this world !! 😋

I took my partner (who ate fish) to this restaurant and we ordered the vish and chips and wow it did not disappoint, we absolutely LOVED it!
Now my partner has stopped eating fish and will only eat vish - a win for cruelty free 🥰
The staff were amazing too and can cater for coeliacs too (me)

Pros: High quality food , Tastes so good , Friendly service

Insane fish & chips

The fish & chips are soooo good ...... I've had it twice at Vegan Camp Out and both times it's been incredible. The person I was with didn't like it as it tasted 'too fishy' but it's definitely one of my favourites, on par with unity diner.

Pros: Amazing fish & chips

Recommendation

Great food and service. We had the vegan cod and chips. Very tasty Well priced . The fish had amazing texture and was delicious. The chips were crispy and crunchy. Perfect. Everything was piping hot which is so important.

Pros: Vegan fish and chips , Both were perfect, Good portions and well priced.

Overrated

Fish and chips was ok, but sauces (aiolio and pea) were bland. Tables were not clean, and restaurant did not smell very fresh. Would not come back again.

Vegan fish is great but everything else is underwhelming

The good: vegan fish, absolute best I've ever had. Location: close to the station and the beach as well

The bad: service charge is added to the bill upfront as you order from the till. Ketchup isn't free. Wooden utensils instead of metal. Tartare sauce was mediocre, and the portion given is quite poor considering the fact that ketchup isn't free.

More bad: Drinks selections is quite poor. Water or a choice of nestle's flavoured sparkling water. No choice of usual soft drinks, no beer.

I would only buy it again if I lived in Brighton, and got a takeaway order. Otherwise I don't see myself visiting here again as a tourist.

Amazing vegan fish and chips!

This was such a treat, vegan fish and chips at its very best! Only pity was that my husband, who has to have gluten free as he has coeliac disease, couldn't enjoy it too. Gluten free ingredients but cooked in a shared fryer. We understand that this is an issue in small kitchens. Superb location, lovely staff and amazing 'fish' and chips!

Great nonviolent fast food

A must for every animal lover visiting Brighton! We had the classic cod & chips and it was perfect, hot crispy chips with a big crunchy piece of “fish”. The service was super friendly and they were happy to accommodate special wishes.

Wow, so so good

Finally managed to try No Catch Co over in Brighton today, always so much choice in Brighton. I wasn't sure what to have but they recommended the smoked haddock and chips and the lemon shrimp so we had that plus the kids cod and chips and some mushy peas and wow so amazing! The taste and the texture of it all was really really good, so much so we decided to try the calamari too, and the chips were great too, so if you're over that way well worth trying 😋

Amazing fish and chips

No Catch does the best vegan fish and chips around! Amazing choice to either sit in, or if you're lucky with the weather get it to takeaway and enjoy on the beach! Just watch out for the seagulls 😆

Great vegan fish and chips

We got cod and chips with tempura prawns. All very nice. Quite rich food so we shared a large portion between 2 of us.

The best vegan fish and chips I've had

The food was fantastic, and the portions generous. Chips were crispy and golden, not soggy. Tartare sauce recommended.

incredible

No Catch, a vegan fish and chip restaurant in Brighton, offers a delicious and unique plant-based dining experience. I've only ever had the food to take away, but it is amazing to enjoy it on the beach.

The menu at No Catch is impressive, featuring a variety of options from Tofish bites to popcorn prawns, and even vegan calamari. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is casual and the food is delicious. So, if you're in Brighton and craving for some vegan fish and chips, don't hesitate to drop by No Catch.

Great vegan chippy by the sea

It's fantastic to be able to eat delicious vegan fish n chips by the sea. My non-vegan husband loves this place, in particular the tempura prawns and battered sausages. I'm working my way through the menu! The staff are always love and the restaurant spotless.

A must visit!

Absolutely amazing vegan fish and chips - I will also never NOT get the mushy peas offered at here or unity diner as they are also glorious! The fish is so flavourful with the homemade tartare sauce and the chips were cooked to perfection. If you have limited time in Brighton as a vegan, this is 100% the place to be! Also extra points from a visiting Scottish tourist for selling Irn Bru!! 🫶🏻

Hot inside but worth it for the food!

Great little shop hidden a bit away. We were happy with the portion sizes - they’re bigger than at Vegan Camp Out, if anyone has tried it before there. First time I’ve had calamari in 10 years and I was very impressed. My partner had the large cod and chips, I had calamari and tofish bites which filled me up. Warning though: if it’s warm outside it is BOILING in the shop, so we opted to sit outside but it is lovely to have on the beach anyway.

Pros: Very realistic

Cons: Too hot inside to sit in

Amazing fish and chips

Fish was so incredible we went back for a 2nd piece! Chips... Out of this world. Battered sausage... 10/10...didn't like the calamari but that's just a texture thing for me. Only thing that let this place down was the cleanliness. Toilets were grim and outside table/area dirty and not very appealing. 100% return though.

Amazing Vegan Fish N Chip Shop

A little expensive but worth it. They have vegan versions of battered sausages, cod and haddock and even have a vegan tartare sauce. Very big portions. Would recommend! You have to eat fish n chips near the sea!

The best fish and chips ever!

Absolutely delicious vegan fish! Love the menu that resembles that of a traditional fish and chip shop!
I had the smoked haddock and chips and my partner had cod and chips and both were fab, with the taste and texture being very close to that of the real thing.

Pros: Fantastic fish , Curry sauce , Nice restaurant

Cons: Wooden knifes and forks
