Perfect lunch food-come HUNGRY! - Edit
Delicious food with loads of options; word of warning, portion sizes are enormous! We had the falafel pita and it was enough for two (and were not light eaters!) All around us we saw people with food untouched that they were getting to take away. Nice fresh juice.

Best coffee in town - Edit
We came here for coffee one morning in search for our first decent coffee since coming back to Vietnam and I can tell you this place did not disappoint. Their coconut coffee is delicious , and by far the best coffee so far in Vietnam. I cannot wait to go back and try some of their dishes.

The coffee is very nice and so are the pressed juices. The food is good but could be a bit more robust (I ordered the avocado and shiitake toast).

100% vegan and plant-based - Edit
My boyfriend and I ate breakfast and dinner at Roots almost every day for our 3 week stay in Da Nang! Great, customizable smoothie bowl flavors (my favorite is Rise Up) and yummy buddha bowls with garlic black rice. They also serve fresh juices, coconuts, tea and coffee. Perfect for grabbing a meal before heading to the beach right down the road 😁

cute swings at bar, outdoor seating, indoor seating... homemade nut butters, dates kombucha, and drinks for take away... Pretty extensive menu. Also, fresh coconuts. Highly recommend this place!
Read moreWent a few times and tried their japanese bowl, falafel bowl, and BBQ burger and they were all really good. Only thing is the bbq burger did not have coleslaw, which I was looking forward to😒 But service was good...

Can't stop eating here! - Edit
Only had a couple of days in Da Nang but have pretty much come back here for every meal. Food is just fantastic. Great selection, it's fresh, healthy, colourful and absolutely delicious. Had the pesto sandwich with eggplant, cherry tomatoes and zucchini on charcoal toast last night but ate it too fast to take a photo as has been so long since I've been able to get a good vegan pesto. The avocado and shiitake mushroom toast is perfectly finished off with nuts, ginger and micro greens. Feel like I'm back in Melbourne and should be lining up for half an hour to get a table and pay five times as much. Also goes without saying that the dragon fruit smoothie bowl was the perfect breakfast.

Worth The Walk - Edit
This place was about a 40 minute walk along the beach from where we were staying, but it was so worth it we went back again. The staff were friendly, our first visit we had the Jackson's and the BBQ burgers with fries, cooked fresh both were really good. The next day we went for breakfast, I had the falafel pita sandwich while my girlfriend had the cacao dream bowl, portion were big & so was the taste. The staff even offered us some root veg fries they were experimenting with. Definitely worth a visit or two.

Good for salads not too keen on burgers - Edit
Great place for alternative food in Da Nang. Although wasn’t keen on the burger at all, the bread they used wasn’t to my tasting and didn’t eat most of it. Smoothie and salad bowls are great. Of course pricier than other places due to the more western food and ingredients uses.

Probably the best Vegan in Da Nang - Edit
Found this gem today and as a hard core vegan I went away very happy. I had the jackfruit burger and it was delicious (I'm used to eating jackfruit) and beetroot toast was also delicious. They have a great selection of natural drinks they make themselves which are tasty and healthy. Overall a wonderful place and the prices are great. The person we met there who seemed to be in control or the owner or manager is an Italian/Russian and very helpful. Highly recommended.

Fantastic and so fresh - Edit
Went back four times. I don’t often post reviews, but this was in incredible. Whoever posed a pic of the falafel sandwich with the caption “good not great” was so wrong, mine came loaded with everything. That person must’ve been picky and asked for stuff removed. Everything is so fresh and they served me large portions, full of veggies, just what I need before heading off to Bangkok to destroy my body with alcohol!

Yes it is a little bit more expensive than the local prices but for how much you get, and how tasty it is I think it is defiantly worth it!! I had the smoothie bowl with turmeric, it was externally filling and taste great! I went back for dinner and had the Japanese Buddha bowl. Again, defiantly worth it!
