I used to go to New Vegas as much as I could, because I completely loved this place. This may have been until about 3 years ago. This was a vegan restaurant far ahead of others, vegan tuna pizza, vegan goat cheese sandwich.. they had it all. I miss their old menu a lot. Now it’s more ‘fancy’ but less tasty. I think it still tries to be ahead, but for me it just isn’t the nice and delicious restaurant it used to be. Its still good, but if you remember the old days you will always be disappointed

Attracted by the sticker on the door, we went to this restaurant in Haarlem. This 'vegan friendly' sticker actually means, as a n.v.v. member, a discount or any other extra's but we didn't get any.
Read moreI ordered a thai stir fry with rice but had to search for only five pieces of tofu. The stir fried vegetables contained a very salty soy sauce, which seemed to be thickened with cornstarch. The variety in vegetables was minimal, and the whole dish was a very very small amount. The price however, was huge.
The female waitress seemed uninterested and grumpy, and there should be a good reason that we were the only ones in the restaurant. I left the restaurant, still hungry.
When you're looking for a restaurant with good quality price ratio, this definitely is not the place!
Aangetrokken door de raamsticker 'vegan friendly', gingen wij naar dit restaurant in Haarlem. Deze sticker betekent eigenlijk dat je als n.v.v. lid, uiteenlopende kortingen krijgt of iets anders extra. Wij kregen echter niets.
Ik bestelde een 'thai stir fry' met rijst waarbij ik moest zoeken naar een krappe vijf stukjes tofu. De geroerbakte groenten waren zeer zout, en het geheel had voornamelijk weg van een met maizena ingedikte sojasaus. De variatie in groenten was minimaal, en in totaliteit was dit een erg kleine portie voor een hoge prijs.
De serveerster leek ongeïnteresseerd en chagrijnig, en er zal een reden dat wij de enige in het restaurant waren. Toen ik het gebouw verliet, had ik nog steeds honger.
Prijs kwaliteit zeer ondermaats, ik zou dit echt niet aanraden, tenzij je snel van je geld af wilt, voor weinig

Soms ben je in een vegan restaurant en denk je: dit kan ik zelf ook. Alles hier is zo ver boven mijn kunnen en het redefine vlees en de toetjes (wij hadden cheesecake en crème brulee) zijn fantastisch!

Vandaag hier ons 25-jarig jubileum gevierd met de kinderen. We waren erg benieuwd naar het 3d geprinte vlees, dus dat als voorgerecht besteld, wonderbaarlijk lekker! Hoofdgerecht en nagerecht waren ook om te smullen!

They have a small but nice menu here. The Ceasar salad was very nice. The croque monsieur was a bit too liquid and not that grilled to resemble the original, but the flavour was really good. Great staff here, very friendly.

The restaurant offers a great variety of different foods and drinks, ranging from Malai Kofte to burgers. The food is super delicious, and you should definitely try the 3d printed seitan-soy meats.

Mind-blowing 3D printed meat - Edit
Meat consumption is so long ago that it’s hard for me to draw a fair comparison. But this was great. I tried the steak, which was served with polenta and a chimichurri. It was a lot nicer than I expected. The 3D printed teriyaki stirfry dish really took the cake. The veggies were nice and crunchy, the marinade was good and not too overpowering. The malay kofta dish was also nice. Appetizers and dessert were nice. I would definitely reccomend going here!

I don’t normally write reviews here but the plant based steak was absolutely astounding. If you’re freaked out by a very realistic vegan steak maybe don’t get it, but if you’re curious like I was TRY IT. I was blown away by the flavor and texture. Service was incredible and very kind, a little slow, but they were short in the kitchen and it was well worth the wait. Make a reservation as it isn’t the largest restaurant.

The chocolate mousse and affogato also seemed to go down well.

Read moreWat jammer van deze review. Uw tafelgenoten hadden allebei de hamburger, die allebei hetzelfde waren bereid waarvan één dus blijkbaar verbrand was. Uit beleefdheid hebben wij de zogenaamd aangebrande burger terug de keuken in genomen. Na onderzoek, was hier echt niks mis mee. Desalniettemin hebben we alsnog een nieuwe hamburger voor jullie gemaakt.
Ook hebben we u kosteloos extra saus voor de Malai Kofta gegeven.
Op onze website staat gewoon het menu dat wij voeren, daar staat geen kaasplankje op.
Jammer dat wij nu op deze punten door u worden afgerekend terwijl wij er alles aan hebben gedaan om jullie tegemoet te komen.

Het eten was geweldig🤩 voor voorgerecht hadden we seitan taco's die waren niet normaal lekker. Voor hoofdgerecht had me vader een burger, lekker maar niet super bijzonder. Zelf had ik malai kofta, dat had heerlijke indiaase kruiden erin. Voor dessert had ik speculoos cheesecake die dat was heerlijk❤️ De bediener wist veel af over de gerechten en vertelde met passie over de gerechten.😊 Ik raad het zeker aan. Het is wel aan de prijs, maar dat is het waard✨️

The whole experience was really pleasant from the moment we walked in. The ginger lemonade tasted like a cocktail (mocktails were available too). The burger was amazingly juicy and meaty so I was surprised to find out from the chef that it was homemade. Cheese fondue was luxurious, but was very mild. Depending on your taste, you might want to add a little pepper. Accompanying veggies had the perfect amount of bite.

Read moreGet reservations for Friday and Saturday nights. Pretty soon, you'll need them for week nights, too. If I lived here, I would visit at least once a week. We went tonight, and now have reservations again tomorrow.
We have eaten at Vegan restaurants all week in Amsterdam, but this one is THE BEST!
Order the curry dish, steak, cauliflower app, speckuloos cheesecake, & chocolate mousse
Going to try the fondue and other items tomorrow...
Pros: Everything! Order the 3D Steak. Tastes like heaven, Had a smoked eggplant cauliflower app, Perfect portion sizes. Did not leave hungry.
Cons: That they don't have a restaurant in the U.S., That we can't stay longer to try everything, That more people don't know about it.

WOW! Vegan cheese fondue again finally! - Edit
They got me at vegan cheese fondue and a Negroni!! We were so saddened when Mr. and Mrs. Watson closed down in Amsterdam, that was the first and only time I've ever been able to get vegan cheese fondue.... until now.
Read moreChandler had to remind me to take a photo when they placed the fondue in front of us, it looked so delicious. And it was every bit as good as it looked. 
Great comfortable atmosphere, ALL VEGAN, incredibly friendly owner and staff.
Our server was a 17-year-old who is vegan, the owner was very helpful in directing us to stores that might have the vegan cheeses we crave here in the Netherlands.
Because it is the colder season and they do not have the outdoor seating they did not have the seitan .which they make fresh, would have loved to try that but there was plenty more to eat.
We got the smallest version of the 3-D steak because we were afraid that it would taste too much like meat, our waiter frankly said that he didn't eat it because of that, but even as long time vegans we did enjoy it, the spices and texture were great. 
We also got the bitteballen and fries, and I ended my meal with an incredible Irish coffee with lots of whip cream, the owner made it decaf because I said that caffeinated would keep me up.
We had a really amazing time here, from the atmosphere, to the drinks, to the food, to the staff, 100% recommendation this would be on our regular list if we lived here.

Lovely restaurant - Edit
We had dinner here last Friday night. We were on the late side (around 9 o'clock), but the restaurant didn't mind our reservation and gladly made room for us. They just had a new menu full of tasty choices. I personally had the Malai Kofta, which tasted delicious. All in all, a lovely restaurant.
