I enjoyed the food and my work colleague who usually avoids vegan food as well. He was pleasently surprised. The place was completely full on a Monday evening and we just happened to get a table. It is advisable to make a reservation. Overall, a rather loud place with a more classic "bavarian" atmosphere.

We ordered some of the traditional german food they offered. The duck and the roulade. Both were delicious and nicely presented. On top of that I recommend the mousse au chocolat. We also really liked the very comfy vibe of the restaurant.

Bodhi ist ein sehr gemütliches Restaurant, wo die, die Lust auf veganes bayerisches Essen haben, auf jeden Fall fündig sein werden. Ich wollte unbedingt bayerisches Essen während meines Aufenthaltes in München probieren, was ja nicht immer so einfach ist, und ich wurde hier nicht enttäuscht. Super weiche, köstliche Knödel, ausgezeichnete Rouladen und eine super leckere Soße. Mein Vater hatte den Bodhi Klassiker, den Bodhi Pfanderl, und der sah wirklich super aus, definitiv zu empfehlen. Die Nachspeisen waren irgendwie sogar besser als die Hauptspeisen! Der Kaiserschmann war die leckerste Nachspeise, die ich je gegessen habe. Einfach ein Traum! Bin auch kein Mousse-Fan, aber der war super lecker. Auf jeden Fall hingehen, wenn du in München bist!☺️

Dass man eigentlich immer reservieren muss, um einen Platz zu bekommen spricht für sich. Das Essen ist absolut köstlich. Das Ambiente passt zum Menü und die Preise sind meiner Meinung nach auch fair.
Read moreEinziger Kritikpunkt: Bei einer Reservierung hat man - wenn viel los ist - seinen Tisch nur für 90 Minuten. Werden Vor- und Nachspeisen bestellt, kann es knapp werden und für ein gemütliches Ausklingen ist das auch leider zu wenig Zeit.
Edit: Das letzte Mal wurde der Tisch wieder für 2 Stunden reserviert. Deswegen jetzt 5 Sterne :)

Best German food I had during my trip! So happy I got to taste vegan Bavarian style food. There were too many dishes I wanted to try that it took me time to decide on what to order, but the staff was so patient and kind. This place is a must-try. I’d definitely come back if I get to visit Munich again 🥹

Read moreThe food is really delicious. Especially liked the cauliflower wings and the Bodhi Pfanderl. Also tried the wild mushroom ragout, but unfortunately it had only two small pieces of lupin.
Staff is friendly and you can order tap water for free which is a plus for me.

A cozy yet lively restaurant serving traditional German food. The food is very hearty and filling. I'm from the Nordics and grew up on meat and potatoes so Bodhi was like comfort food for me. We went on a Monday night and the place was packed, I recommend you call in beforehand and make a reservation!

Great place with a pub-like “Wirtshaus” atmosphere in a cozy neighbourhood. In the summer you can sit outside. We wanted to try everything from the menu but the portion sizes are quite big so we didn’t manage to do that. Amazing buffalo wings and great Kaiserschmarrn! Only small let down were the mains as the gravy could have been more flavourful. Made the whole dish a little bit too bland. We would still go there again to try something else! Staff was super kind too!

Read moreThe waitress was super friendly, helpful and kind. We only had two glasses of tapwater which wasn't a problem and came free of charge.
For starters, we shared the buffalo cauliflower wings. Super crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside with a nice bbq sauce. We loved them. As for our mains, we had the classic (soy) steak dish and the mushroom ragout. Both were very good, but both of us preferred the steak which was incredibly crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. Also the sauce, red cabbage and potato dumplin that came with it were utterly delicious.
Just a great experience overall, delicious food and wonderful staff. Can't recommend Bodhi's enough.
