Everything was amazing. Even my fussy 2 year old was tucking into everything.

All the food was good, we got the tomato tartare, cucumber apple salad, Svickova, the goulash, and the Moussaka. All good.

We enjoyed a great lunch, served by very friendly staff. Space is very clean, toilets are spotless. Lunch was super tasty and a great portion. We had the zucchini lasagne (to die for) and the dish of the day (Buddha bowl). Would’ve loved to have desert, but was so satisfied it couldn’t fit.😉

both really enjoyed the food.
The stairs were unexpected, have to do a lot of climbing to get there however it’s totally worth it cause the food is so good.
We sat outside it was lovely as the weather was also nice.
Would totally recommend checking it out if you plan on visiting Prague.

Delicious vegan food! I had the daily special (tofu scramble with potatoes in a rich creamy sauce) and a fruit dumpling. It’s a lot of steps to climb up to the restaurant, but a great view from the rooftop terrace seating.

It’s up a lot of winding stairs so as long as you don’t mind this or have accessibility issues, then it’s not a problem. The terrace is a really cute little area with nice views, but note that you aren’t allowed to smoke out there (I made this mistake after assuming it was fine because it’s outdoors and missing the small ‘no smoking’ sign in the door).

Vegans Prague took over from loveveg a long time ago and they have survived because they offer seriously good grub. Ok, very fine vegan cuisine.
Read moreWe shared the dumplings with beef, the Caesar Salad, the lasagne and a honey cake. All were great. The lasagne stood out as it was delightfully light, lots of spinach and cheesy sauce . Sad that they do not offer tap water!! And that they are rather over protective about the possibility of rain closing the outdoor balcony. But as long as you do not need a wheelchair to get around (it’s up three flights of narrow stairs) and you are not short of cash this place deserves it’s 5 stars beyond any doubt.

Cons: Charging for tap water!!!

Thanx for your feedback but I did not misunderstand the tap water issue. In the Uk it is unthinkable for a catering establishment to not provide free basic tap water. Many people buy fancy filtered or carbonated water instead but at 58kr that’s about £2.50 it should not be the only option for drinking with a meal that although very good is also quite pricey for some of us. Prague may not be Pimlico but we were not impressed by this difference.

The restaurant has 2 stories and depending on the weather there are a few tables on the balcony as well.
We went there because I wanted vegan versions of typical czech food and they do offer Svíčková
It was delicious. My mother took the lasagna and said she has to try and recreate this meal at home.
It was definitely worth the price - but you can check out the menu beforehand and decide for yourselves.
Pros: Great atmosphere , nice friendly staff, Great selection of tasty meals , Dogs allowed
Cons: It can get quite warm upstairs under the roof, There could be more typic czech meals on the menu

I love that this place offers vegan versions of Czech traditional dishes, so you can experience the food culture without compromising your ethics! I had the Svíčková sauce with no-beef sirloin and bohemian dumplings. I've never had the original version to compare but I can say I really enjoyed this dish. The sauce was kinda like a thick carrot soup..? Really yummy! Service was also super friendly and there's a small terrace with great views. My dish was 328CZK which is about £11.50.
