Good food with friendly staff - Edit
First, the staff were extremely nice and helpful.
Read moreWe had the "pork" dumplings, some type of noodle dish and fried and breaded mushrooms with a side of rice.
Everything was tasty. The restaurant is in a great location. The price and size of dishes are appropriate for the location, quality of food and service. #Veganuary

Absolutely loved it 💜 - Edit
Been meaning to trying out this restaurant for a little while, after visiting the Asian grocery store next door, a few times. Well, did not regret it one bit ! Variety of dishes for all tastes, staff was absolutely great, had lovely conversations too. Let the waitress recommending me some dishes, and they were lovely. Shame I was on my own so struggled to finish all the food, while with friends it would have been easier to order different things and share.

Yes, it isn't the cheaper place around, but you gotta consider everything else before you make comments about the price, including quality of food and location. So, on my experience, I don't feel like adding it to the "cons" because it's not exaggerated knowing it's literally outside of Camden Town tube station, AND... it was yummy af ! 😜 #Veganuary
Pros: Entirely vegan and great variety of dishes, Lovely and polite staff, Clean

Nice enough but pricey for what is - Edit
I love Vegan and Veg fake meet Chinese cuisine. I've tried loads of these restaurants all over the world. This one has just opened and apparently they are still working on the decor. However, I felt the food was overpriced. There are restaurants in London that are doing similar things but better for the same price and cheaper. Eating out in London is expensive and it's important to make it worth your while.
Read moreWe ordered a hot a sour soup, Chilly wantons, smacked cucumber and duck pancakes.
The hot and sour soup was nice enough but it was very tiny for nearly £6, like a small cup of tea small. I've had better smacked cucumber, duck pancakes and chilly wantons elsewhere and it's not worth the prices they are charging for them. The smacked cucumber was a little lack luster. The duck pancakes were the best thing, but I wasn't keen on the fake meat they used. There can be two types of fake duck meat used, I prefer the bean curd fake duck which this is not. The chilly wantons were over cooked and falling apart.
The staff were very kind and that's why I decided to give it a 4. If you've never had this cuisine you might think this is amazing, but I feel there are better options elsewhere and they need to charge less. .
Pros: Great service, good location
Cons: Over priced for what it was, small portion for the soup

Life is good on this vegan planet - Edit
So much choice on this menu - allow deliberation time or dine in a large group so you can sample more dishes! The sliced 'fish' in sizzling chilli oil was a standout with a light Szechuan chilli tingle. The tofu pieces in the sea-spicy tofu had a perfect fried bite with a fluffy interior. Smacked cucumber was a welcome fresh contrast to the saucy dishes. Salt and pepper mushrooms were light on pepper but the batter texture was just right. All dishes are pictured in the menu which was helpful in choosing. Consider not wearing a pale top as it's pretty hard to avoid oily chilli splashes :)
Read moreThe interior is spartan for now as the restaurant is newly opened in 2022 but staff enthusiastically explained it's a work in progress.
Vegan Planet is an exciting neighbour to the growing vegan dining strip that is Parkway and a welcome addition to the underserved vegan Chinese scene in London. I'm already planning a return visit to dent the next 10% of the menu.
Pros: Super-friendly staff
