Tasty Vegan takes on classic Korean dishes - Edit
Located within walking distance of the old city and several shrines and temples - as well as about 5 mins from a subway station, this small restaurant has about a dozen tables, two of which are outside in a small enclosed garden. The friendly staff seat you and bring a menu to your table, but ordering is done via a kiosk touchscreen with both Korean and English and then delivered to your table shortly after. Portions are very generous - we ordered two mains and a side between the two of us and struggled to finish them (but were provided boxes to take away when asked after) and with this in mind, very reasonably priced. Everything was tasty, so all-in-all a great experience (particularly if you are sitting somewhere that does not have a view of the TV silently broadcasting cult teachings subtitled in a dozen languages overlaying AI-generated "art" drivel.) Would recommend the Tteokbokki and the Fried Dumplings in particular!

Gutes koreanisches Essen - Edit

Lack of flavor - Edit
I went almost at the end of the day and they had only 3 dishes. The one I ordered was lacking flavor. The personal was nice but I would not come back

Fantastic vegan Korean food! - Edit
We arrived around 5:30pm and was able to snag the last table (but were asked to share with another party which totally worked for us). There was a line forming within minutes after we were seated. Seems like a primarily tourist spot but nonetheless very good food!
Read moreAtmosphere reflects a more traditional hanok experience with both indoor and some outdoor seating. You order in the main hanok via a kiosk (Korean and English languages available). Unfortunately, some dishes were sold out such as the kimchi quesadilla.
We ordered 4 items:
- Bibimbap: probably one of our favorite vegan bibimbaps in Seoul so far (except we didn’t like the vegan fried egg)
- Buckwheat spicy noodles: delicious dish with the gochujang sauce
- Rice cake dumpling soup: was excited to have dumpling soup! The fake meat was just okay but the dumplings and ddeokbokki made it worth t!
- Sweet pumpkin rice drink (Sikhye): absolutely delicious! Wish I could have it everyday.
We had wanted to try the Tteokbokki because it seems to get rave reviews but the portions were very generous!

Not so tasty - Edit
The food was very average and not really tasty. I ate the Bulgogi, it didn't really taste like real Bulgogi and the Dumblings were much too crispy, but that's a matter of taste. The wheat noodles were okay, but nothing special. I give 3 stars because they have a lot of traditional Korean dishes in Vegan.

I tried the rice cake dumpling soup, tteokbokki, and the sweet pumpkin rice drink. All were incredibly delicious! There were many other options I wanted to try, so I will need to come back here again to taste some of their other menu options.

Cute and delicious - Edit
Great location near Jongmyo and Changdeokgung. Gave me a chance to try some Korean food without eating meat. I had the Korean fried “chicken.” While I wouldn’t say the texture was anything like fried chicken, the flavor was great.

Friendly owner and all vegan! In a pretty little traditional house too. I got the bibimbap and a sweet pumpkin drink. Both were great and the vegan egg was scary realistic

Massive portion size 8/10 - Edit
We ordered too much had to have it packed up 🤣🤣.
Read moreNice interior helpful staff good toilet, plenty of options.
The Kimchi quesadilla was everything I dreamed of best item, not often are you able to get good melted vegan cheese in Korea or even Seoul, sweet and sour dish is nice but a lot too handle.
The sweet and sour tofu dish needed some like steamed plain rice with it because it was just slightly overpowering, mushrooms were delicious inside it though.

Cozy Comfy Place - Edit
I was in a rush so had a Kimchi Quesadilla, aww, 🥰 it was delicious! Would return to try more on their menu. Also this place is tiny so seats filled up quickly at biz hrs, do go early though. I felt I was walking into 15 century Korean villa of some sort, love the docor!

Love this place - Edit
I really really liked this place, I wish I stayed nearer or stayed for longer to come back.
Read moreThe restaurant is a very cute hanok, kinda small, with a few tables on the right and another section with two more tables on the left (great for some privacy) and both look out at a small inner patio.
You order via electronic panel, put the table number in, select your dishes and pay there.
Food was delivered quickly, and it was really good. The portions are pretty big, and the plates themselves are big as well, be aware if you are at a small table.
The tteokbokki comes with vegan fish cakes, fried veggies and dumpling. Vegan fried chicken was very good and crispy, probably my favorite dish of the ones we tried, and tuna fried rice was good, I ordered it mainly because I was curious about the vegan egg.
Good food, cute ambiance, nice staff, totally recommend!

Great restaurant in a great location. - Edit
Super easy to get to if you are visiting the Changgyeonggung Palace or Bukchon Hanok Village. The food is fantastic. We tried the tteokbokki, spicy buckwheat noodles, and the kimchi quesadillas. The servings were huge and the food was flavourful. The venue is very cute and the menu has a lovely introductory page about veganism and the importance of being vegan.

The rice cake dumpling soup is heartwarming on a cold day - Edit
I visited a few times and had the bibinbap, rice cake soup, and mandu. Whilst the bibinbap wasn't necessarily the best I've had in Seoul, it was still good, and the rice cake was definitely up my alley. Overall, it was a nice place to eat with reliably good food. Well priced, too.

Amazing - Edit
Another excellent meal in Seoul! Tried the Korean fried chicken, tteokboki, fried dumplings and bibimbap. They were all delicious. The bibimbap has a vegan friend egg… I don’t know what it is made of but it was a great addition! Egg is the one thing that usually feels missing in vegan bibimbap. The proprietor is so kind and friendly. Small restaurant and it gets busy, come early or make a reservation. We ate here twice we liked it so much!
