Absolutely banging Korean food and lots of choice at that. I don’t know about you but when I travel I want to eat local cuisine which the vegan places sometimes avoid. But not here. Flavourful and vegan, I tried the bibimbap and tteotboki. And the hanok it’s in is just gorgeous. A must try.

Must try! - Edit
I found this place when roaming the area and was surprised I hadn’t known about it previously. The kimchi fried was so delicious and the vegan egg was a fun texture.

Lovely restaurant in insadong - Edit
The bulgogi rice bowl was good and came with three side dishes: Kimchi, pickled lotus root and soup with sprouts. Unfortunately the sprout soup taste was very weak, maybe it was supposed to but it was too weak for my taste. Kimchi was ok, the lotus root was great.

Massive portions! - Edit
We had a Korean BBq "chicken" some kimbap and gyoza. Not the biggest fan of kimbap in general. The gyoza and BBQ soy meat were so good. Portion size was big!

delicious korean food - Edit
One of the best restaurants I've eaten in in South Korea. The manager is very friendly and even put on French music for us. I was able to try several dishes and they were all very tasty. The interior of the restaurant is not very large but it is very beautiful. It's also very clean.

Vegan Insa’s staffs are super friendly, the food is simple and tasty. Casula menus to a bit sincere menus. Affordable price that anyone can enjoy.

Cosy place - Edit
The place looks beautiful, it felt really cosy. The food was good especially the dumplings. I found the broath of the rice cakes and dumplings too peppery and thick for my taste (this is just a personal preference). Overall very nice would go back to try something different!

Meilleur poulet frit vegan de Séoul ! - Edit

IN-CRE-DI-BLE! - Edit
Dinner was DELICIOUS! There were so many great menu items to choose from, it took us a while to decide. We eventually decided on the fried shrimp in sweet and sour sauce, kimchi quesadilla, and fried dumplings (which was more than enough for two people - we took home leftovers). Every single item was phenomenal, and we will definitely visit again before leaving Seoul! The owner was also very very kind, which brightened our evening. 10/10 would recommend!

Great lunch spot - Edit
This is a cute, casual place for lunch with a lot of nice dishes and a picture-based/kiosk-ordering menu to support those whose languages (Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and English) aren’t printed already. It’s clearly set up for tourists but the food seemed authentic enough. The tteokbokki platter is huge but not as spicy as I would have hoped (for most I think that’s a good thing but it was a drawback for me haha). We also tried the bibimbap and the Korean fried “chicken” and both were excellent. I especially enjoyed the vegan “egg” on the bibimbap.
Read moreA TV plays a propaganda video for the religious group but otherwise the sect isn’t really a prominent part of the restaurant. I do wish the imagery on the screen, which was meant to promote veganism by showing tortured animals, was not graphic. I get that they are trying to spread the message but we are already there, and it was distracting/upsetting during an otherwise nice meal.
My first vegan meal in Seoul, and it sets a good stage for the visit!

Beautiful Vegan Restaurant - Edit
Delicious vegan fried chicken. I really wanted to give a 5-star review to this beautiful place but we also ordered the bulgogi and we did not like it (maybe we are not used to the flavor but was kinda soggy and grey). But we will definitely come back and order something else. This is a must visit place if you are vegan.

Our best meal in Seoul! - Edit
This place is amazing! We ordered the bibimbap, fried chicken, and ttebokki. The portions were so generous and came out piping hot. The owner is so friendly and it was super easy to order on the kiosk.
