Cosy place and fantastic food - Edit
We went there twice, for breakfast and the next day for lunch. The apple and cinnamon porridge was delicious. The salad portions were big and filling. They also have sandwiches and pies. To finish, they have a good selection of cakes and brownies. Also they don’t use any plastic straws, cups or bottles, which is great.

How is this place real? - Edit
So good. Astonished this exists after struggling up the west coast of Scotland for vegan food. So nice to have a coffee and some cake and chill out. Great coffee which is also few and far between lately..

As the only vegan cafe in Fort William, they offer great selections of vegan eats and treats. Love their turmeric latte, toast and raw cakes. Service is great. Staff friendly.

Friendly little vegan cafe - Edit
My boyfriend and I planned to stop in Fort William en route to Skye. Spoiked for choice as Glasgow vegans we were doubtful we would find anwhere to be able to stop and have some lunch in Fort William. To our delight we found this little cafe! We both had the mushroom soup and my partner had a seitan sandwhich which I stole a bite of! The tuneric latte was amazing and I even got a free drink with my reuseable cup I purchased as my own cup cracked on the journey! The staff were all so friendly and we are already looking forward to popping back in on our way home.

Hi, thanks for visiting! Really glad you enjoyed your visit.
Read moreWe try to keep our main menu fresh and change it regularly (daily in fact), which is why we only have one or two options at a time. Hopefully as a vegan, it's something different from the usual offering, and if you're a regular, the next time you come it'll be something different. Today we have Jackfruit burgers and Enchiladas! Yum.

lovely place - Edit
Great place, lovely friendly staff and nice relaxed atmosphere. The cakes were divine and really good coffee. Also, they have a little shop section where you can buy a selection of grocery items, including refills for your Ecover products and they sell a few unpackaged dry goods to weigh out, so bring your reusable baggies. The whole ethos of the place is right up my street combining both veganism and zero waste. Please open a branch in my town.

We have been asked quite a lot about opening a franchise in another town, oven Bristol which surely has a lot of places like us....

Brilliant - Edit
Found this lovely place through Happy Cow and it was such a fabulous surprise. I live up in the Highlands and to have somewhere like this up here is such a blessing.
Read moreThe staff were immediately welcoming and you felt like it was one of those places where nothing was too much trouble which is so nice nowadays.
I had a pot of tea and a piece of the lemon cake to sit in and the cake was yummy. It was very sweet - perfect, just how I like cake! I don't see the point in eating tasteless dust type cake in the hope that you don't feel as guilty. Enjoy the cake - own the guilt.
I also took away a sourdough toasty with 'cheese' and pesto which was also full of flavour and packed with filling. I also took away a brownie (see guilt note above :-)) which was lovely and moist and full of chocolate goodness.
A definite asset to Fort William High Street which has looked a little tired of late.
Pros: Vegan Cake , Great sarnies, A much needed gem

Pleasant surprise :) - Edit
We weren't really expecting it to be so easy to eat vegan on our way back from Skye, and were prepared for the usual hummus and crisps in the car. Finding a fully vegan cafe in Fort William was amazing!
Read moreMy partner and I both opted for the cheesy beans toastie (violife cheese I think), on home made bread with crispy tempeh bacon. Really, really tasty! I also indulged in a hot chocolate (delicious) and we each sampled the cakes on the shop front, which were as decadent as we were hoping for.
Good service, great atmosphere, friendly staff and a cafe everyone should support. Good luck, guys!
Pros: Vegan :), Tasty, Good variety in lunch options
Cons: Portions slightly on the smaller side perhaps?

gorgeous - Edit
Visiting fort William, as a new vegan I wasn't expecting much but I stumbled into this little gem. Not only did it take me a second to realise I'd stumbled into a completely vegan cafe but that the food was gorgeous! The lemon cake so yummy I could have eaten the whole thing. With a little shop, great tea choices, lovely quirky setting and very friendly and helpful staff. I fell in love with it. Just disappointed I couldn't take it home with me!

Hi Rebecca, thanks for the kind words, and welcome to the world of veganism!
Read moreA lot of people say they didn't know it was vegan straightaway (someone said it was 'casually animal-product free') which is something we were aiming for, to get people in without judging it from the outside, as a result, we've had a lot of Oatly converts and minds prised open!
Hope to see you again next time you're our way.
