the food was so tasty, staff were lovely and even just the presentation of the food was really nice. we had the stuffed tofu parcels, king trumpet mushroom katsu curry, salt and chilli tofu, salt and chilli beech mushrooms and the rainbow rice. we also had this amazing lychee cocktail, i can’t remember what it was called but wow!!!! 🤤 i highly recommend this restaurant. the gender neutral toilets are so nice to see as well ❤️

Great food, great staff - a night to remember at this amazing restaurant which I can't recommend highly enough. Our party of 7 between us tried many of the small and large plates and it was all incredible.

Worth the wait - Edit
We’ve been waiting to visit when things calmed down with the pandemic, and it was worth it. Food was freshly cooked and delicious with plenty of options. We ordered the starter of tofu satay bites and the tempeh bao bun and for the mains, had Szechuan tofu and black bean tofu. I have to admit that the service was a little slow (the waiters were very friendly and knowledgeable on the menu) and we did wait around 30 minutes to receive our drinks, but coming out of lockdown with restaurants trying to function again, this was to be expected and it wouldn’t stop me going back. Very much looking forward to going again!

Yum - Edit
I love this place. Only silver lining of the pandemic is that they now offer delivery. I'm torn between getting it regularly to make sure they stay in business and rationing it so it stays a treat! I haven't ventured back to indoor dining yet but going to Suissi is always a lovely experience. Unlike other tasty vegan restaurants in Glasgow that are louder and faster-paced, it has a calm, special atmosphere with candles and soft music, and the staff are absolutely lovely.

Amazing! - Edit
I did not go in with the intention of having three courses! In fact I was a bit worried because I don't like mushrooms and there's a whole mushroom menu. But the the food is amazing for mushroom lovers and haters alike and the staff so friendly and welcoming and happy to share their favourites with you, that you may find you accidentally order three courses! 😉 You'll love them all!

Can’t recommend this place enough.
Read moreGot a delivery of rendang and Kung pho with jasmine rice as both where amazing.
Don’t be deceived by the the small boxes. At first I wasn’t impressed. But when I put it out on the plate there was loads!
Think so much being tightly packed into a small box kept it really warm. And the flavour. So tasty.
Defo recommend and I can’t wait until the CoVID situation is better so can visits the restaurant.

a glasgow gem! - Edit
Suissi is amazing! I first went in 2019 and have been back a good few times since - every dish is fab, especially the starters (vegan prawn crackers, gyoza, spring rolls!) and the tofu dishes. Dessert is a little on the small side, but after a big main the flavours are always refreshing - such as green tea ice cream, or caramalised banana. Unfortunately, I went for my birthday last week and service was really slow - we were booked in at 7:30 but our table wasn't free until 7:40; it took a long time for our order to be taken, and then we were rushed at the end to leave because another table was coming to take our spot. I'd put this down to how packed the restaurant was, which isn't really big deal, but we had somewhere to be and the fact that our mains took so long meant that we missed our other booking. Despite this, the food was fabulous as always, and the staff incredibly nice, so there's really no detriment under normal circumstances!

First Time There! - Edit
[It was raining and although the google sat-nav said 13 minutes, it seem like it took forever to find this place, I was lost heheheheheheh. I even drove down a one-way road. Still, I managed to find Suissi and all that driving and turning was worth it when I tasted the soup. The vibes was excellent.]

Amazing food - Edit
This is now one of my favourite places to go, I love the menu and it's got a more chilled and classy vibe to bar/restaurant style places. I felt so full afterwards, staff are really nice, and they have a cocktail menu I'm keen to go back and try.

Highly recommend the rendang lions mane mushroom curry and salt & chilli chips (think they were cooked multiple times) 😍 Tofu satay & tofu parcels were pretty good
Read moreFound the gyosas to lack flavour, would not recommend the clay pot tofu unfortunately
Staff were lovely and attentive, very good covid measures!
Pros: They have many dishes which are around £7 meaning , you could easily order a few and share
Cons: The clay pot tofu was very bland, was like a, water, veg, noodles and tofu. Offered, some soya sauce and sriracha which gave flavour

Perfect - Edit
A great hidden gem. Everything was perfect. It was very busy on a Friday night and service was a bit slow but it absolutely wasn't grudged as it was amazing. The staff were very friendly and it was very good value for money. We got 4 starters and 3 mains between 2, with 3 drinks and it was about £50.we didn't need that much but there was so much we wanted to try! The hot and sour noodle soup was especially brilliant, I haven't had a good one since going vegan!

Beautiful food - Edit
I had dinner here for the first time and it was great. The restaurant was busy for a Thursday with a vibrant atmosphere. Plenty of drinks to choose from the list on the table- my boyfriend would have preferred the option of beer on tap instead of bottled but this doesn’t bother me.
Read moreThe food itself was delicious! I agree with other reviewers who commented that the food was very fresh, you could taste this especially in the items that were fried, there was no greasy residue left in your mouth after eating. We shared the cauliflower bites, lotus crisps, salt and chilli chips and veg gyoza- my boyfriend had pad thai for main while I opted for the crispy noodles and we finished the lot (with a only a slight struggle!). My favourites were my main and the salt and chilli chips.
Definitely a winning restaurant, so pleased it opened in Partick!
Pros: All Vegan , Fresh food, Modestly priced
Cons: No beer on tap
