Amazing vegan food - Edit
Superb food, so tasteful, freshly made. Rice balls, homemade tomato soup, gnocchi, superb homemade puddings, good red wine. Lovely service in this small gem of a restaurant.

Overpriced. - Edit
Was visiting Edinburgh for the weekend and due to the great reviews I gave this place a go. It was quite nice but considering the quality of the food, it was extremely overpriced. For two starters, four mains, two desserts, two cans of pop and two alcoholic drinks, the bill came to £155. I was excited to try the tiramisu but sadly I’ve made better myself at home. We all tried a bit of each other’s food and the most disappointing dish was definitely the pizza so if you go I would avoid that. Overall ok meal but for the price it wasn’t worth it.

Amazing! - Edit
I was struggling with a full vegan menu where everything sounded good so the waiter very nicely asked me questions and suggested something for me… and it was great! I’ve forgotten the name, a pasta with a creamy sauce and vegan sausage in it. I went with two friends and both of their pastas looked so good too. I would absolutely go back!

been to novapizza and really enjoyed it so wanted to try this place and it didn’t disappoint! good portion sizes for the main courses, no need to worry about ingredients not being vegan.
Read moreonly negative would be the desserts felt like they were slightly overpriced for what they were but still really good.

Fantastic takeout! - Edit
The best food I’ve had in Scotland since arriving more than a week ago! Delicious flavours, prepared well. We ordered delivery so it took a bit of time, but it was well worth it. I recommend the penne arrabiata for sure! Everyone I’m with enjoyed their pizzas and calzones, including the non-vegans who didn’t think they would!

Great food, even when delivered! - Edit
The five of us (two non-vegans, one who normally doesn't like vegan pizza) were very impressed by this place. I personally have very low expectations of vegan pizza. The cheese is usually awful, the toppings usually store-bought, it's often cold. But Sora's was great! Everything tasted fantastic, everything came hot. Even the penne was good which I found really surprising as pasta normally doesn't travel well and most places over-cook the noodles until they're a soggy mess. Not Sora, though! We'll be ordering from them again whenever we get the chance I'm sure. They're probably my favourite pizza place in Edinburgh, now.

Favourite vegan Italian - Edit
This is the best vegan Italian I’ve had. The gnocchi and garlic focaccia (note that the normal focaccia is a flat bread whereas this one was raised and fluffy) were amazing, and the wine menu is also great. Such a lovely atmosphere inside, but it’s a small restaurant so make sure to book a table.

Worth a visit once if not had vegan Italian before - Edit
3.5 stars. The food is fine, but quite expensive for what it is and definitely a bit overrated in my opinion, won't be rushing back, sort of thing I go to every few years with someone who really wants to try it. £72 for two starters, two mains, chips, no drinks 😬 Maybe just not to my taste, as the restaurant has been a finalist for several Italian awards. Pasta portions are generous, and the truffle chips with mayo were very tasty. It's an impressive menu and good to have an 100% vegan Italian restaurant. It's a small place so make sure you book, we saw so many people being turned away. Not very good for private or romantic datey, as you're very close to other tables and have folks standing around near you waiting for takeaways.

Cheesecake is out of heaven - Edit
We had the Pizza Dumplings for Antipasti, which were delicious though a bit on the spicy side. For main we can really recommend the Ortolana and the Amatriciana , but probably every Pizza is amazing, because the Mozzarella is so authentic!

I’m giving 4 stars just because is all vegan - Edit
We were expecting a fantastic dinner, but instead, the main courses were rather underwhelming. We ordered the pasta amatriciana and penne alla vodka, but both tasted the same. It left much to be desired, to say the least. I’m giving it 4 stars because I love supporting fully vegan places around the world, but the quality really needs improvement. And really expensive.

The Sora Lella Roman Vegan is a small cozy restaurant. We were served very friendly and courteous. I really liked the free wifi. I had the pizza parmigiana and it was excellent. I am not usually a lover as far as eggplant goes, but I had a feeling I would not be disappointed here. The best vegan pizza I ever had. It was delicious.

Considering the reviews and high rates of this place we were very disappointed by the food. The place is nice but the pizza and pasta were not even good, not completely awful but not good.
