Amazing vegan food - Edit
Superb food, so tasteful, freshly made. Rice balls, homemade tomato soup, gnocchi, superb homemade puddings, good red wine. Lovely service in this small gem of a restaurant.

The Best Vegan Food I’ve ever eaten! - Edit
A MUST visit!! The most delicious food. I don’t know where they get their cheese but it is the most authentic cheese I’ve ever had! I’ve been looking for a good blanco pizza since being vegan, and here I found it! Soooo delicious!

Very tasty food from this Italian, if you’re in Edinburgh for a couple of days there are two Italians I would recommend and this is one. We had pasta and pizza, both of which were tasty. However the vegan cheese here wasn’t to my liking unfortunately but would definitely recommend trying for yourself. If you plan on eating here book ahead as limited space

Absolutely delicious! We had the carbonara and strawberries and cream tiramisu. The truffle oil that we had on the side was also very very good. All topped off with great service.

I got the gnocchi with vegan gorzonzola sauce, radicchio and walnuts. The sauce was lovely but way too salty and that was a shame because I think the sauce would have so good without it:( my partner got the mushroom pasta, which also had a nice sauce but was also oversalted sadly:( looking at all the great reviews though, we do hope that this is an exception to the rule:)

A wonderful restaurant in a nice part of the city. I had my usual spaghetti pomodoro which was as good as I’ve had anywhere else. Edinburgh has two brilliant vegan Italian restaurants. How lucky they are.

I never thought I would ever be able to smell cacio cavallo the same way and for it to be vegan also! They had a variety of authentic Italian dishes with a vegan spin to them. I had the suppli (which were wonderful) and the bucatini in a cacio cheese and pepper sauce. Amazing.

I said to the server, "I've been vegan for a couple of years now, and it still blows my mind how people can make such amazing things with plants," and I still stand by that point. The pasta I had was simply the nicest pasta I've had on ages, if ever.
Read moreHowever, it has a price tag to match. I had a main, a drink, and a dessert, and it came to £35 with the optional service charge included! Even in London, I don't think I paid that much. It's a small business, and the staff were very friendly and attentive (and one had a Cowboy Bebop t-shirt on, always happy to support a fellow anime fan) so I'm happy to pay the tip but I don't think I'll be visiting again for a while.
If you're in Edinburgh, I highly recommend checking this place out. Just be prepared for it to not be cheap.

The staff was very friendly. The food was incredible. We've been here in the beginning of September, and it's now November, and I still dream about the food I had there. It's the perfect vegan Italian restaurant. If you have the chance, go there and thank me later.

We enjoyed the pasta more. I chose a tomato based pasta which had a seitan bacon. Delish. Would visit again if in Edinburgh.

We had the Bruschetta, a ‘special’ garlic and truffle penne pasta dish and the Amatriciana Pizza.
The pizza crust was some of the best I’ve had as a vegan, and the flavour balance of each meal was on-point. Can’t fault it!
