When you know it's a good restaurant.. - Edit
I had the Bavarian platter and the gyros with fries. Both delicious! ...and you know it's a good European restaurant when they propose you mayonnaise with your French fries!

Great restaurant! - Edit
Went here for brunch and ordered the Famous and the American breakfast - both were delicious! The food could have been a little bit more warm though. We had different coffees and a chai latte, which all tasted great. We’ve been here to dinner before and can definitely recommend that too.

Cool place! - Edit
We ordered 2 mains (Tutto Blu - pasta with Gorgonzola, and Tutto Bene, pasta Bolognese), both very good and tasty, and big portions! But to drink we ordered watermelon mojito (non alcoholic) and beer. The watermelon mojito had barely watermelon, also almost nor lemon neither water, most of the glass was fulfilled with ice, and that costed 10€😒also the dessert with choc donut and snickers ice cream, the ice cream was AMAZING, but the donut was very dry, it looked like that it was frozen before serving. Staff is very friendly and we walked in without reservation in a Friday evening. I would come back again!

I had the crispy dish: the mushroom sauce was tasty, but the schnitzel not really, I had to flavour it with ketchup.

Good, but the waitstaff was a bit confused - Edit
The food was generally good, but there were a few issues. For the starter, we ordered "meatballs," which were tasty but the portion was too small for the price. They were served with something called "tortellini chips" – triangular chips straight out of a bag? A bit odd for a restaurant like this.
For the main course, things got a bit awkward – the waitress forgot one of the orders, so one of us had to wait longer. Not ideal when you're dining with someone. That said, the main course was juicy and flavorful, which we appreciated.
Unfortunately, the food had some "lasting effects" – we were dealing with bloating and gas for the rest of the night. Haha!
Overall, it was okay, but there’s room for improvement.
Pros: atmosphere

Nettes Lokal - Edit

Traditional and ethical - Edit
Apart from being a modern restaurant offering Bavarian classics, Siggis is a good cause educating about veganism. Their slogan is "values and food" and on their website you will read phrases like: "Be the change you want to see in the world." or "In a gentle way you can shake the world." Those mottos become evident when you visit them: their napkins are printed with Rainer Maria Rilke's thought evoking poem "The Panther", and their menus seem like little books including artworks from Hartmut Kiewert, that illustrate animals as friends. You'll also find information about environmental organisations like clickatree.com or plantbasedtreaty.org, which they support. Knowing that, it appears like the food automatically tastes twice as good. The Obazda, a cheese based spread, was amazing and we also liked the quiche and Flammkuchen. The desserts were equally delicious. The business is family owned and offers franchises opportunities in order to spread the word, so only the following remains to be said: All the best!

What a gem! - Edit
Siggis truly delivers! All dishes are freshly prepared and 100% plant-based. I especially appreciate that the restaurant not only offers delicious food but also provides information about what it means to be vegan—a great way to learn more. The menu is diverse, covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the selection of sandwiches - a must visit when in munich!

SIGGIS is a great restaurant with delicious food. There's just one problem - the difficult opening times. At workdays it's just open at the evening. But the staff is very nice and the restaurant has very good cakes and coffee.

Please notice correct opening hours! - Edit
Saturday and Sunday the restaurant is open for drinks/cakes 10:00-23:00, but Kitchen is only open 10:00-15:00 and 17:00-21:00, and on this Happy Cow website edit page you can see that those hours are listed but the Happy Cow app seems to have a bug because it only shows one set of times for each day so it shows Saturday and Sunday only opened 10:00-15:00. Please fix the app!

Delicious dinner in a beautiful atmosphere - Edit
We were lucky to be seated at the Bar because the Restaurant was completely booked out and we didn't have a Reservation (2 people, saturday evening). For us the Bar was also a great place to have dinner and a drink. We had the anti-jäger schnitzel and were very happy about it. Super sad, that we were too full for dessert... would definitely reccomend!
