We went to Siggi's specifically looking for vegan cake. We were greeted and served by lovely and friendly staff.
Read moreAfter checking out the beautiful cakes in the glass display, we decided to share a slice of Peanut Butter/Chocolate and a slice of Chocolate/Mango.
Both cakes were equally delicious and exactly what we were looking for. Personally, I love peanut with a little bit of salt mixed in with the sweetness of the chocolate. This cake was just right. The mango topping was simply perfect. It went well with the generous layer of chocolate on the bottom. The cream in the middle was kind of fruity, too. Amazing.
The ambience of the place is very comfortable and worth mentioning. The music was upbeat and excellent. I even had to Shazam a few songs because I liked them so much!
We'd like to go back for dinner the next time we are in Munich!

We originally booked for dinner at 6 but showed up an hour early and they were able to seat us early. We started with beers (in chilled ceramic steins!) and garlic mushrooms that were served with toasted bread and a creamy aioli. The schnitzel was perfectly crumbed, potato salad was the best we’ve had in Munich and the mushroom sauce was so delicious. The flammkuchen was lovely and thin and the sour cream was very traditional. Staff were so helpful and service was quick and attentive.

Ich war mit einer Freundin im Restaurant. Das Gericht meiner Freundin war etwas salzig, aber lecker. Ich bestellte Ravioli und sie brachten Nudeln. Sie sagten, es gäbe keine Ravioli. Es war auch lecker, aber etwas fettig.

Read moreWe ordered the famous German/Bavarian dish “crispy” (Schnitzel covered with Rahmsoße accompanied with half fries half Kartoffelsalat and fresh salad) and the “Suri” (a rice dish with roasted carrot, celery cabbage, mushrooms and tempeh).
Compared to the previous schnitzel we have eaten, this one was also good, but the schnitzel was less crispy since it had softened by the sauce, and the kartoffsalat was less flavorful maybe because there wasn’t any cucumber, which might make the difference.
With regard to the Suri dish, the overall dish was very good, the coconut hoisin-sauce was delicious, a “spekkie naar je bekkie” as we use to say in Dutch. However, the tempeh, which was marinated I guess in soya sauce, was way too salty. A pity because it really had an impact on the end food experience.
The drink were good, nothing to report.
However, I would give it another chance in the future because they still have plenty of other options on the menu and delicious looking desserts!

Really enjoyed the big breakfast plate (probably best to share between two) and the schnitzel.
Only downside is all of the drinks are quite expensive and while I enjoyed my iced latte, I didn’t love the cappuccino I got. I think 4.60 is too much for a non specialty coffee.

Ein schönes Restaurant, mit einem guten Service und sehr leckerem Essen. Mir haben das Schnitzel und die Lasagne (siehe Foto) besonders gut geschmeckt und die Getränkeauswahl ist auch sehr vielfältig. Ich fand nur die Auswahl an Hauptspeisen etwas wirr und durcheinander. Dafür ist für alle Geschmäcker etwas dabei.

Using Happy Cow as a reference while visiting Munich, my wife and I decided to make SIGGIS our first meal. It did not disappoint! Vegan schnitzel and potato salad was amazing, as well as the vegan lasagna. Also, delicious Peanut Butter Torte!

Mein omnivorer Freund und ich haben letztes Wochenende hier zu Abend gegessen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Limonade war Weltklasse! Die Bedienung war freundlich, intelligent und sehr zuvor kommend. Mein Begleiter war so begeistert, dass er bei seinem nächsten Besuch in München wieder kommen wird! Do not get me wrong. Neither the food, nor the service or the interior was bad, but when I go to the „best-rated vegan restaurant“ in Munich I expect some more.

When we asked the waiter if they could leave the mushrooms out of the sauce they told us that that wasn‘t possible. Appearently nobody is capable of producing a sauce in the kitchen. Weird.
