Give Peas a Chance - Edit
My vegetarian family spent five days in Athens during the summer, and Peas was hands-down our FAVORITE vegan restaurant in all of Athens. They have an extensive menu that includes sandwiches, pitas, wraps, savory tarts, salads, platters and FOUR different types of veggie burgers. We ordered the protein platter (that included seitan, tofu, and tempeh with house salad, pita and a mayo or chili sauce dip) and the seitan gyro wraps made with roasted vegetables, lettuce, tomatoes and sauce. Both were phenomenal. Leave room for dessert - chocolate cake, apple pie, and several raw desserts including lemon and carrot tarts. We had the chocolate cake and raw lemon tart, and both were delicious. It has a hip ambiance with a community dining table and hammock seats and a very friendly staff. If you are vegan or vegetarian and find yourself in Athens, include Peas in your itinerary.

Best seitan wrap I’ve ever had 😍 - Edit
I cannot fault this at all. The wrap was phenomenal. The atmosphere was friendly. Even the ice tea on offer was great. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Athens. Also received high praise from my omni friend who had the tofu nuggets breakfast plate.

Lunch and great cakes - Edit
This place was a welcome respite from making do with side dishes, fries, tomato salad and bread. GREAT Jackfruit burger in a lovely homemade bun. Perfect lunch. If you go here, do NOT repeat do NOT neglect the cakes!! We had one lemon and one carrot/coconut both zinging with flavour, deeply intense, rich (but not oppressively so) and very much relished. Staff kind and relaxed. THANKS PEAS

Amazing - Edit
I’m so pleased we found Peas! The food was fantastic, the staff are wonderful and it is great value. The homemade seitan was delicious as was the mayo. We also had a lemon tart which was really tasty. They also care for the environment and use glass straws and provide a water refill station. This place is a must visit!

Must stop in Athens - Edit
A cute little shop serving delicious food. The restaurant is a quick 10 min walk from the Acropolis Museum. We shared a platter of tofu, tempeh, and seitan that came with a dipping sauce, pita, and a small side salad as well as the seitan club sandwich. Both were amazing and very affordable. On the way out, a large piece of chocolate cake was calling our name, so we jumped at the chance to try that as well. It was very rich without being overly sweet. Very nice find!

More peas! - Edit
My bf ordered a bunch of food to go and it was delicious! We had two great sandwiches, one an avo blt, and another was some seitan thing on a toasty while grain baguette with vegan mozzarella. Also their pea tart was amazing. Highly recommend. I’m sure it’s even better if you eat there.

Vegetarian but few veggies - Edit
I ordered the platter that came with tempeh tofu and seitan. It also came with a tiny salad and some pieces of pita bread. It occurred to me that this is a vegetarian restaurant but there are no vegetables on the plate such as broccoli carrots cauliflower celery etc. I really wish the salad contained something besides just lettuce. It was a filling meal at a good price but kind of disappointing at the same time. After looking at the menu it doesn't seem like there's a plate with a whole bunch of different veggies on it.

The food is "clean" and tasty, quite affordable. Perfect place to eat something on the go but also to rest for a while. The lady who speaks english is curious and friendly, we enjoyed little chats with her.😄It is a great idea to grab an energy ball on your way out.

Authentic Greek Food without the Cruelty! - Edit
This was an awesome place. Visiting in the off season and going throughout Eastern Europe, we found it difficult to find vegan places that were open, but this place made up for all the rest! Had a delicious gyro that tasted as authentic as it gets. Plenty of vegan and both raw and nonraw options, and dessert was fantastic. Not to mention it's centrally located, very cheap for the portions/quality, and so delicious! Couldn't recommend it more :)

Over the course of four days in Athens, I've tried seven items from the menu. I hope to get through another dozen, but it will be hard not to reorder the things I have already enjoyed. The burgers and wraps suit me: seitan, tempeh, mushroom...
