Friendly people. Amazing food! - Edit
Peas was recommended by many vegan friends so of course I had to visit it! So glad that I did. Lovely lady, and her raw apple pie was one of the most delicious desserts I have ever, ever had. I had that, and a creamy soya cappuccino for 'brunch'. Both perfect. Menu looked amazing too. Cannot recommend enough.

Peas is a wonderful little restaurant with light, earthy decore and plenty of seating. The owners are welcoming and friendly, I felt very comfortable in their store. I ordered the mushroom souvlaki, which was my favourite in Athens. It was filling but tasted so good I had to order a seitan souvlaki as well! My soy latte was made perfectly, what a treat. The prices are also good.

My favourite vegan place in Athens - Edit
Peas is a small beautiful vegan oasis in the center of Athens. I love the vegan burgers with mushrooms, lentils or veggies and the wraps with homemade seitan or tempeh (made of greek delicious chickpeas!). The menu is filled with tarts, raw sweets and smoothies or even a vegan cappuccino! This place is a must stop if you are a vegan in Athens! Highly recommended!😄

Went to Athens on vacation and discovered this place. Thought I was in luck to find a true vegan restaurant in my travels however out of the 5 things we ordered 1 was good, 1 was great, and 3 were awful. They served us overcooked, and flavorless food for 2 orders. As much as I love supporting the movement I also have to realize that a vegan restaurant needs to be so delicious that it changes the minds of those who are not. This place fell short of that.

Taste is something very personal and as you can see we have excellent reviews and people say that our food is delicious in general. About your claim that our food is not freshly prepared, you have to consider that we are not a restaurant, but a street food, which means that we have to prepare some of the food (as burgers, tofu nuggets, etc as we make it inside from scratch!!!) every morning and we do it every single morning!!!

I made a brief stop here to pick up a snack, and had the cashew tart and a chocolate smoothie. Both were delicious, especially the smoothie. It's quite small place but has a nice feel and the lady who served me was really friendly. Located about 10 minute walk from the acropolis.

Read moreMy favorites are the wraps – with either seitan, tofu or tempeh. Their chickpea tempeh is really delicious! And the seitan is also nice and moist. The vegetables they use are always super crisp and fresh.
The staff is lovely and joyful. Will go many times again!
