Best vegan and gluten free meal ever! - Edit
Amazing menu with so many gluten free options. I’ve not been able to have Italian since becoming gluten free & vegan over 10 years ago so this was an unbelievable find. The food is delicious and moreish. I literally had a 3 course meal because I wanted to try it all. Non alcoholic wine was also offered which really complimented the meal and as a non drinker this was such a bonus compared to having a Diet Coke!
Read moreStaff were really friendly and the place was super cute too. I’d definitely be back. Also I took my mum and sister who aren’t vegan and they absolutely loved the food so it’s definitely suitable for everyone (even the fussy meat eaters out there 🙈).

Great Pizza - Edit
The food was great and so we're the staff (I say staff, there was only 1 person who I could see who was looking after the whole restaurant and although she seemed super busy she was very attentive and very lovely). 2 of us went halves on 2 pizzas and desserts and we left stuffedand happy ☺️

Cannot wait to come back, so happy the menu is now fully vegan. I still miss their old vegan salmon wrap from two/three years ago.

Absolutely loved my visit to Nova Pizza. Shared starters of bruschetta and focaccia dracula which were both incredible and tasted so fresh.
Read moreFor mains enjoyed gnocchi and penne norma. The portions were plentiful and served in a pan which was a nice touch.
For dessert enjoyed the Oreo cheesecake with ice cream and the tiramisu.
Would have loved to try the Vego chocolate pizza for dessert but was just too full! Will need to return and try this!
Very happy with my experience here and Looking forward to my next visit 😁

Tasty, worth the money, excellent service, - Edit
We had the gnocci with pesto and spaghetti carbonara with some sides.
Read moreEspecially the mains were really delicious. The portions were quite big.
They have a lot of options to choose from including a big selection of pizza, pasta and sides/starters.
The service was execellent, our waiter was attentive but not in the intrusive way I experienced in different restaurants before.
The restaurant is pretty small, you might have to make a reservation.
Pros: fully vegan
Cons: expensive (but worth it)

Amazing Authentic Italian - Edit
Loved this restaurant. Small, homely and authentic. We had bruschetta and the caprese salad for starters. Their homemade ricotta was amazing. Followed by Carbonara and 4 Stagioni pizza. The portions were huge so for us we definitely ordered too much!

Fully vegan Italian - Edit
It’s nice to find a vegan restaurant that isn’t just burgers & junk food. I had the 4 stagioni pizza which was okay, but not amazing. It was kind of strange that it was in 4 segments, I didn’t really know that was a thing? I would prefer my toppings to be mixed! I would definitely go again to try something else on the menu, as the atmosphere was nice.
Read morePros: Lots of options, Plenty of extra toppings for pizzas available

A plethora of options here to satisfy your Italian cravings. Very good vegan pizzas. Tried the 'white pizza' which we had never come across before. A solid four stars. Visited November 2016.

What's not to love - a well done pizza with all the toppings you could ever want. The price isn't bad either. What could be better? Nothing but that sweet vegan cheese. Maybe one day.

Good pizzas - Edit
Had two pizzas at NovaPizza while eating with my husband. Both pizzas were good, warm and had lots of toppings. The downside for us was that the staff wasn’t speaking English all that well, so when we had some questions they couldn’t really answer us properly. Besides that, had a good experience.

This was what my 14 year old daughter said to me when unable to lift herself away from her pizza! The best pizza she’s ever had, she claimed.

An honest-to-god vegan Italian restaurant - Edit
Complete with murals of Italian streets, false grapevines, and jazz records playing. The staff spoke to each other in Italian and the waiter had a very genuine smile. All the wines are vegan so I had a glass of red, and I ordered a calzone which I was expecting to be the size of a Cornish pasty but came out the size of a small cat, with a side of salad. It was spot on. The only thing is it's the kind of price you pay at this kind of Italian restaurant. My bill came to £22 with an espresso for afters.

Vegan pizza and dezerts in EDI - Edit
What a lovely place! I really like vibes this place have. Service is amazing. Miss was kind, smiling and helpful. Also when I entered she seated me she explained me everything and offered me a water. They have season menu - winter. I chose vegan pizza funghi e pancetta. The flavor was great but dough was little bit oily for me. When I finished main course, miss offered me desert menu and recommend me Oreo cheesecake (I said I am chocolate guy ). And the choice was perfect! I enjoyed my lunch and I can only recommend this place!

Amazing Italian Experience! - Edit
My fiancée brought me here for my birthday dinner after finding the restaurant online, the menu looked amazing and I was really excited to try it out. We were seated at a cosy wee table for 2, the whole restaurant maybe only sits around 20 customers, and the waitress advises us briefly of what was unavailable. We chose a Pepperoni Pizza & Inferno Calzone-both vegan- purely because you can’t always get choices in other Italian restaurants.
Read moreWe were blown away with portion sizes and the food was incredible! Both of us have already decided we will be back the next time we’re in Edinburgh!
We ordered a Vegan Dolce Pizza to take away as we weren’t going to miss out on dessert - and it was totally worth it!

Pros: The BEST Italian Vegan , LOADS of delicious choices sweet & savoury, Friendly and Welcoming staff
Cons: Small seating area, Slower service when restaurant is full
