Beautiful food

I had the vegan prawn taco as recommended on the reviews and at the first bite I understood why it has been recommended, it’s really good😄I also tried the garlic bread, it wouldn’t have been my choice if I’d been by myself but I was pleasantly surprised, it’s really nice and worth trying just the garlicky butter. I had the Oyster Mushrooms, it was really nice: several different vegetables cooked differently, all very tasty, on a celery very smooth mashed. The real con is that it’s quite expensive $28 for the main. My friend had the chili prawns which was apparently quite filling.
The atmosphere is nice and the staff is very lovely.

Pros: The menu is interesting , Lovely staff , Beautiful food

Cons: Quite expensive

Delicious Food, Service suffered slightly

Apart from the Brussel sprouts, which were un-seasoned and covered in a strange cheese sauce, the food was delicious. Not a cheap option to eat out though.

Pros: Duck Pancakes and Mac n cheese are lovely, Decorations

Cons: Expensive, Service was slow, they forgot a lot of things, Didn’t get offered second drinks until the end

So glad we found this place!

Such a beaut find in the middle of Byron Bay. Highlights include the the 'Calamari' accompanying sauce, the 'Duck' pancakes and the star of the show was the 'Prawn' tacos. The couple on a table next to us didn't even realise it was a vegan restaurant until they ordered dessert!

Pros: All vegan, all delicious

Cons: Not open for lunch

Don’t come without trying the vegan tacos

Best vegan place in Byron bay! Highly recommend Vegan prawn tacos are amazing! People behind us didn’t realise the place was vegan! Very friendly staff and quick service! Wish I could rate more than five stars! Loved every dish, had to get all the small plates between three of us so much lovely choice!

So Tasty

I had a special option of banana blossom marinated in seaweed and beer battered as ‘fish’ and chips with chilli jam and a dill tartar sauce which was AMAZING! I then went back a couple of nights later to sample some more of the menu and had konjac ‘calamari’ which was great especially as calamari used to be one of my favourite dishes and then I had the ‘duck’ pancakes which were so tasty and some really great flavoursome chips which are a huge portion and great for sharing! The staff were also super lovely and the cocktails were so good! I would definitely recommend whether you are vegan or not as everything tastes great!

Pros: Fully vegan , Everything is tasty inc drinks , Lovely staff

Excellent Vegan choice. Tasty. Portions not large though.

We just did take out and delivery. Was very tasty and excellent food. The mock duck and mock calamari were so authentic,.
Excellent vegan food, that none vegans would not even realize, or miss the meat.
Portions are not that large, would be the reason for not giving 5 out of 5.

Cons: smaller portions

Beautiful decor

Bit more up market fully vegan restaurant. Gorgeous outdoor seating with heaters and blankets. I nice mix of mock meat style and just vegetable food. The calamari starter was amazing! Burger was meaty but very tasty. My partner thought the gnocchi was a little bland. But all the portion sizes were great.

Pros: Cozy, cute and great calamari

No bull, the cocktails rule!

I saw rainbows and unicorns after trying the Tropical Piñata and Purple Rain...staff are effervescent and offered me some kick a$$ polenta chips. Can’t wait to go back for dinner...often and soon! Thank you!

Hidden Vegan Jewel

Being vegan doesn't mean a compromise of my tastebuds or expectation of clean, inviting spaces with great service. No Bones ticks every box with Delicious vegan food beautifully presented with great atmosphere and excellent service. A thoughtful menu with something to please everyone. After eating here on 4 consecutive nights whilst at a conference, I brought vegans, vegetarians and non-vego's to join me. All were equally impressed by every aspect of the meal and experience.

Pros: Superb Food - faultless, Excellent Service - warm, welcoming & efficient., clean, light & inviting interior space.

Unique food interpretations

Wow. This is 5 star. Have eaten at numerous vegan only restaurants. Interpretations of calamari and tender steak will be hard to forget and even more difficult to replicate when eating at home. Location is great and the evening ambiance they've created is cozy and a great place you just want to spend time in

Pros: Unique

Delicious food and friendly service

No Bones has a lovely ambiance, very friendly staff and a great menu selection for vegans. I highly recommend the portobello mushroom for main and the pumpkin & ginger cheesecake for dessert!

Expensive & tiny portions

The food here was delicious, however quite expensive for the portions we were given. I chose the vegan fish & chips which was on the specials board, and it was literally like a child sized portion. My friend had the gnocchi which again was super yummy, but served in a huge bowl and such a tiny portion. I left here feeling hungry and ripped off ):

Pros: Good options , Yummy , Friendly staff

Cons: Expensive , Tiny portions

Beautiful!

Really wonderful restaurant, perfect for date night with the cute cushions, blankets and candlelit tables.
The menu is expensive ($26 for my meal) but was good despite the vegetables being a little undercoooked.

Pros: Great service, Elegant restaurant , Extensive wine menu

Cons: Not a place to fly solo, Small menu
