It was ok - Edit
We went as this is one of the few vegan restaurants in Florence. We had the croutons which were more like crostini and good. The lasagne was ok, not as good as expected. The ravioli was nice. We also had the Chianti seitan as recommended by the waitress, which personally I didn't like. The tiramisu and cheesecake were nice. Service was good.

I liked this restaurant, however food was a bit simple in my opinion.

Disappointing, not as good as we hoped - Edit
The seitan Chianti was only okay. Kind of tasted like a tv dinner. I think they can do better. Maybe that was just not the right thing to order.

It was disappointing. - Edit
I had a starter, which consisted of store-bought Sausage with some Rucola, and again store-bought Parmesan.
Read moreFeels very lazy to me.
The truffle carbonara was fine, though it was a little bland.
While eating it, I constantly had to think, that the ones I, or my family members make are a lot better.
The "tiramisu" was an absolute joke. It had nothing to do with a tiramisu.
It lacked the taste of coffee, amaretto, cocoa and the cream was literally just plain pudding.

Nice vegan food - Edit
Nice to find a fully vegan restaurant in Florence. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had the truffle carbonara, lasagne, tiramisu and chocolate pear cake. Generous portions and reasonably priced. We enjoyed everything but the tiramisu was a little disappointing - it didn't taste of coffee at all.

Keep calm and go Vegan! - Edit
Nonostante ciò, a me è piaciuta e la riordinerei senza indugi. Il fake guanciale era discreto ma migliorabile.
Lo spezzatino di seitan artigianiale era delicato e leggermente speziato!
Tofu cake (aka cheesecake) dal sapore e consistenza interessante.
Prezzi nella media.
Concludendo, ristorante consigliato! E come invita il cartello affisso nel ristorante: keep calm and go vegan!
Pros: Atmosfera

It's a solid NO for me - Edit
We had high expectations because of the reviews, but it was just disappointing.
Read moreFirst, we arrived at 10 pm, and just 3 minutes after handling us the menu , we were informed that the kitchen was about to close, even though the restaurant states to be open until 11 pm…
Our order was taken in a rush so we ordered what the waitress told us were “very good options”.
We ordered the carbonara pasta, which was just not it. The sauce was too runny, flavor and smell was to strong eggy like, the seitan “bacon” too salty, and in general not good. My partner didn’t even finish half of it.
The tagliatelle truffle was disappointing too. Also very runny sauce, did not taste fresh (and the fact that both pastas came out of the kitchen in less than 5 minutes kinda confirms my theory) and I was expecting some shaved truffle on top, but it was mixed in the sauce.
The “soy” meatballs were not soy. It was veggies with some chickpeas or something of that kind, but definitely not soy. They were bland, and if it hadn’t been for the sauce, they would have 0/10.
And last, the baked potatoes were mushy and bland, but the “Best” of everything we tried
Very sad experience, since I was expecting to love the food ☹️

Salve!!

Hello. I didn’t ask for anything out of the menu, just to change from spaghetti to tagliatelle for the carbonara, if that was too much to ask, you could just have said NO. Clients do not have to “thank” you for being seated and served if you are open. You offer a service for which people pay, you are not doing a favour… Sorry, but if you expect everyone to love your food and just have good reviews from every customer, you lack humility. Sorry that you took my opinion so personal. Have a nice day.

One star - Edit
Very disappointing. As I’m used to great vegan food, this truly was worse than homemade. Everything came out in 5 minutes or less so I doubt it’s freshly made. We ordered limoncellos but got partial and the waitress was clueless. Just smiled and walked away. One of our appetisers was totally different to the one we ordered. Plus one of them came out with mains and one after the mains. I had the truffle carbonara. I truly make a better one at home. The spaghetti was so overcooked it just broke at every angle. My friend had the lasagna which was bland and overcooked to the point that there was no texture left. The tempura had no seasoning and it came with plain ketchup. I decided to also get the tiramisu, hoping it’ll match the vegan one in Rome but alas, it was basically vanilla pudding. It had no resemblance to a tiramisu. No coffee, no amaretto taste.
Read moreOverall, I’m quite upset that when people put in the effort to make a vegan restaurant they don’t make the effort to make the food taste good. So vegans have to “settle” with bland tastes.
Pros: Friendly service
Cons: Food, Drinks, Mistakes

I wish we had more time in Florence so we could have returned to Nirvana so try more of their food. I was hoping to find fresh vegan gnocchi somewhere in Italy, and Nirvana really delivered. My partner really wanted fresh ravioli and said it was the best he’s ever had. Really loved this place.

Pretty good - Edit
We got the truffle tagliatelle, truffle carbonara and lasagne.
Read moreThe lasagne was good, I'd generally prefer the pasta sheets to be a little firmer but the flavour was good and it was saucy and moist too.
The carbonara was good, it was creamy and could taste the truffle, but it was very heavy and I couldn't eat much of it
The truffle tagliatelle smelt more flavoursome than it was, which was strange because I think the sauce was supposed to be the similar or the same to the carbonara
Overall it was a decent meal

LOVED the taglioline al tartufo (truffle) and the risotto made with creamed artichoke.

Yes, 100 times! - Edit
Not only were we delighted to find a fully vegan Italian restaurant, but their menu was perfect! It was very difficult to decide what to order, and everything we had tasted amazing! I had the truffle carbonara, which was loaded with truffle flavor, and had a generous portion of noodles. My partner had the lasagna, which was very flavorful, though perhaps not as filling. We split the secondi dish of Seitan lamprecotto, and the texture and flavors were on point (oops, ate half of it before taking the photo!). Lastly, the tiramisu was heavenly 🤤
