Good food but disappointed from the servis - Edit
First Time I was in this restaurant 3 years Ago with group of my friends some vegans some non vegans andI had raw sushi and They all had vegan lasagna from potato and beans and it looked Amazing ! They said it was very tasty. My sushi was Ok . I decided to go there last year Again with my boyfriend as it was my birthday and he really wanted to try it as well . Unfortunately we did not book and They Told us that They are fully booked but we can try to come back in 45 min and there should be table available. We could see that there were at least 3 tables free but They Told us They are booked... we left snd came back in 45 min and They Told us that there waa still not table available Even that 3 tables were still free!!!!??? So They sat us in the Corner and we were waiting another 45 min for a table. After 1,5 hour of waiting the 3 tables were still free there and my boyfriend got very angry because by this time we could have eated twice !!!! The woman who seemed to be in charge on the bar did not Even say anything and she looked as quite arogant. So after 1,5 hour of waiting we left wery disappointed by all of this behavior. We understand that we were not booked but we could eat quickly and leave in an hour ... my boyfriend is general manager And me assistent in the restaurant . We were absolutelly shocked from this behaviour. We will not come back anymore Even the food was Good .

Top class - Edit
Lovely setting, lovely atmosphere, lovely staff and lovely food. A welcome change from the usual scruffy, “house burger” vegan eateries. This is a place where you can put on a shirt and take the other half for a well presented and delicious VEGAN meal.

Pricier but worth it - Edit
We went for an occasion so didn't mind paying a bit more, but while it's a little bit expensive the portions aren't small. We had 3 starters as a mezze for £23 and the mains were about £15 each but it was all totally worth it. My enchilada bake was delicious. Cocktails were also very good, as was service.

Delicious all-vegan food - Edit
Great place if you want to go for a nice dinner. Expect a treat because the food ia absolutely amazing. The day after we are still talking about the tostada starter and vegan cheese cake. Be willing to pay a bit more, but it's definitely worth it. Staff are very friendly and professional and the restaurant's atmosphere is casual and welcoming.

Expensive - Edit
Has a nice atmosphere. But the food seems a little dull. I has the sausage and mash. It looks impressive but tastes bland. The mash was watery and so was the gravy.

Fantastic Birthday Dinner - Edit
We went here for the first time to celebrate my 40th birthday. It was fantastic. The food we had was amazing (the table next to had something even better).
Read moreFirst time I've had vegan cheesecake that was virtually indistinguishable from the real thing. Served with the best vegan ice cream I've ever had.
Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.
It is a little pricey but I'd happily return for a special occasion.

Lovely dinner, veganised versions of traditional dishes - Edit
We had a lovely dinner!
Read moreBig portions. Not really gourmet/gastronomical, but orginal variations of traditional dishes (like bangers and mash, cheese croquettes).
The mezze dessert plate (for 2) was heavenly!
Nice atmosphere, tables not that closely together, although there was one table with about 5-6, who were really loud and dominated the place. Much quieter after they left.
Friendly service

50 years! - Edit
I am so proud of Manna to have celebrated 50 years in London, in that same Primrose Hill location!!
Read moreI have taken a friend for her birthday, my mum for her birthday, and just for a dinner with a friend, and my partner for their 60s special dinner, so I have been a few times. For their regular A La Carte menu they got enough options to vary even after 3 times of going, although after 5 I could imagine it would get a bit repetitive. They got some great tea selection there though! Great hot chocolate too.
The 60s 4 course set menu was definitely the favourite for me though. Very very great food, much work and thought went into this no doubt. Those little extra touches like a mini sausage roll before the 1st course only added to the special feeling.
Very decently priced too. For a restaurant of its level, the price is more than fair for the service and food you get. Definitely recommend that place to people!
Pros: Great food, Well priced, Lovely atmosphere

Yummy but slow and loud! - Edit
Visited for dinner.
Read moreWe had the caribbean platter and the chef's plate (tofu steak w/mashed potatoes and kale).
The chef's plate was delicious; but I cannot say the same thing for the caribbean platter. It was not bad; but I was expecting more flavors given the ingredients.
The choice of desserts was also quite basic, so they could put a bit more effort into creating more interesting ones.
The service was ok; but very slow.
My biggest issue with Manna is that it was extremely loud. It was so difficult to have a conversation with people seating in front of you. But perhaps I was just unlucky with the crowd that day.
Pros: yummy chef's plate
Cons: slow service, could be loud

Gets very busy - Edit
I was excited to visit Manna for a swanky vegan dinner, but to be honest I was disappointed with how crowded together the tables were. Food was very nice, my cheesecake was a bit rubbery but I forgive that because the lovely waiting staff put a birthday candle in it for me :)

A high end restaurant in this part of town, prices are a little high but the dishes are a good size and taste fantastic. Plus everything is 100% vegan which is always good to know. Great place to spend an evening.

lunch review - Edit
I ordered the raw taco, the nachos, the baked potato, and the spaghetti and meatballs. The nachos, tacos, and baked potato are basically the same toppings. They come with a very bland cashew cream saúse and unseasoned beans. The guac is decent but there was a lack of taste on these 3 dishes. The last dish was the spaghetti, the sauce was alright, something you can buy at the supermarket. The meatballs were good.
Read moreThe service was good but we were the only ones there.
I won't give them 2 stars because I can't say much about their dinner menu. All this with a bottle of water came out to £38 with service included.

Beautiful - Edit
A lovely, cosy yet lively restaurant with beautiful food. It seemed fairly expensive on the menu but when the meals came they were so large and perfectly cooked and presented you could see why. Staff were lovely and attentive. It was amazing to get such a range of options for a change.

Good food, all vegan - Edit
I'm limited in what I can eat (practically no carbs). Therefore I appreciated that they have an option of making a main dish out of several starters or side dishes. I found things that I would eat. The portions were not skimpy. The quality of the food very good and the presentation quite nice, though not like a super-fancy chef type place. The service was very good. I'd recommend going.
