Excellent food and service - Edit
Long awaited best experience.
Read moreIt's been a few months we have been trying to find open timings for Manna.
And finally managed one which was totally worth it. With my so many dietary needs, they warmly served 4 course meal which was so delicious. And the service was brilliant too.
Needs to be my frequently visited place now.

Animal Rebellion were welcomed by Robin at Manna for a social event where we could enjoy their great vegan food, wines and beers and animal loving vibes. We all had a great time and look forward to going back. Thanks Manna! Great value as well.

Wonderful vegan roast! - Edit
Visited Manna on a quiet Sunday afternoon and were greeted by very friendly and welcoming hosts. We were promptly seated and after ordering our roasts, were given a lovely complimentary soup! The roast itself was really tasty, a great variety of vegetables and good portion sizes. It’s a shame this place doesn’t seem to get the attention it deserves!

Quality - Edit
Nicely decorated and welcoming on a cold night, Manna still holds its place as an excellent choice for those wanting quality vegan food. It's not cheap but you do get value because the food is top-notch. Flavours are divine and make you realise what's missing in other places! There aren't too many choices on the menu, but you will still want to try them all.

Amazing!!! - Edit
The Vegan Sunday Roast was amazing!! They were very nice, and the lemon cake was delicious. I am from Colombia and I would love to go back one day. They also mentioned they were planning a Mexican evening, which I wish I could go to 😋 100% recommended.

Great for roasts and more! - Edit
I had my first ever Sunday roast here, and have been coming back for it each week I'm in London. It's ten separate roast foods on one plate, and only seems to somehow get better week after week. Other options are wonderful too- especially love the cheese plate, soups, and desserts. Caroline and Rob are very kind hosts. I think Manna is my all-time favourite restaurant!

Amazing, delicious, perfect plus vegan Yorkshire pudding! - Edit
Mystified why Manna isn't busier as the food and the service is faultless. Delicious cheese board with a great selection of cheeses, fruit and chutney with homemade bread and crackers. A perfectly seasoned Sunday Lunch that has the vegan Holy Grail of an amazing Yorkshire Pudding. Just when you think you're too full here comes a trifle that is so creamy that you float away into food heaven, with homemade Manna branded shortbread. 😁 We also tried the beautiful lemon and blueberry slice with an oh so subtle rose flavoured Ice cream. It's been a long while since I've wanted to cry because the food was so good. Here it is. Come to Manna... X

Sunday roast with Yorkshire pud - Edit
Restaurant wasn't very busy but the staff were kind and attentive and gave some free samples of other dishes on the menu.
Read moreI enjoyed the variety of foods with the roast, but the Yorkshire pud was overcooked and the cauliflower cheese was cauliflower with cheese on top, quite bland and not served hot. All of the components were sadly a bit bland, and the roast was £20 which was quite expensive.
However, the trifle for dessert was a winner from me!
Pros: Trifle was great , Kind staff
Cons: Expensive main course, Food was a bit bland

Awful Staff, Expensive Food! AVOID - Edit
Arrived with a friend to an empty restaurant and met by very unfriendly and clueless staff. The food looked and tasted like something made in the 70s - no seasoning, carb heavy and all meat substitutes - this place calls itself "healthy and nutritious" there was nothing healthy or tasty about the food that we were served. We ordered a tofu dish, all tiny pieces with very mean serving of sauce and hardly any side salad, and the sunday roast, the stuffing was dry, veg overcooked and just all around outdated food. There were no other tables come in when we were there. It was RIDICULOUSLY Expensive for appalling food and awful service.

Good service and roast - Edit
We received great service at Manna. For drinks we had the homemade strawberry lemonade that was delicious. We were advised that the roasts take a little longer to make as it’s all made fresh so they gave us complimentary broccoli soup which was very kind. The soup itself was yummy. The roast came and it was the right amount for us. The wellington was the star along with the vegan Yorkshire pud. The only downside was the cauliflower cheese was just cauliflower with some cheese on top but the rest of the meal made up for it and I didn’t mind.
Read moreWe also at the end of the meal got some home made lemon sorbet which was so good, I could have easily had a tub of it! We also had a little shortbread biscuit and homemade ice cream, the biscuit had a good crunch and melted in the mouth and the ice cream was thick and creamy. We also got a little cupcake to go which hit the spot (didn’t manage to get a picture of this)
We sat outside and they seemed to have some “regular” pigeons which we LOVED, we called them Harry and Susan and they were no bother at all and really added to our experience 🐦

Complete gem in North London - Edit
I had the Sunday roast and it was absolutely delicious - seitan wellington with 3 kinds of potatoes, cheese balls, gravy and vegetables. Unfortunately they were out of Yorkshire puddings, but they gave me extra of the rest instead :)

I have been here a couple of times, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this cosy place. Just come here to try their bangers and mash, it's absolutely amazing. Starters and desserts are also very good. Kind staff, reserve ahead as it fills up quickly.

The atmosphere at the restaurant was great. I book this restaurant because of the good reviews and was expecting to have amazing food. I called in to book a table for 2 and also mention that it was my partner's birthday. in my opinion the menu did not have a lot of options and was very expensive for what was on offer. Sausage and mash for £15, roast vegetables for £16, risotto strudel and an option of 4 sides for £15, which is what I ordered and my partner ordered the risotto. My four sides were the worst meal I have had in a vegan restaurant. They did not have taste and were very basic and not to a restaurant standard. We had a vegetable tart for starter which was good. Between the starter and the main course there was a very long wait. What we received was not impressive for all that time we waited. I wouldn't recomend the four sides choice to any one. Infact l told the waitress how disappointed I was but she was not that bothered. The risotto strudel was dry and the rice was a bit raw, it was served on a bed of chewy kale with a bit of green beans. The whole meal was unsatisfying. The idea seems nice but the execution was poor. The person I booked the restaurant with did not pass the message that were celebrating a birthday therefore, we received nothing. When I ask the waitress if she knew about the birthday she said no and there is nothing she can do since the kitchen was closing and that we should go back next year. This was my first time to this restaurant and I would never go back mainly because of food and the service.

Love the food and the atmosphere here - Edit
Great fully vegan restaurant with range of choices and very tasty meals. I went for the 4 course Christmas dinner, and the only drawback was that I had to leave some of the roast to be sure I could squeeze in desert.
Read moreSticky toffee pudding was so worth it though!
On the other negative reviews I agree that the food is not cheap (4 courses with coffee plus a bottle of wine between 3 = 51pp), but I've been a couple of times and the quality of the food has been great - never had anything bland.
Pros: Fully Vegan, good wine, great food nice staff
Cons: Not cheap (but not too expensive either), Always full and can feel crowded

Good vegan food, but not impressive. Side dishes were pathetic and completely bland. Service was poor. We waited a lot for the first course and then another while for the second course. The decor of the restaurant also need improvement.

Really good food and lovely service. I highly recommend it. - Edit
We had the daily special, a lasagna, and a signature dish to share. Which were both really good. But even better was the service, they go above & beyond to make your evening so comfortable. Michelle was our waitress and she was super nice. Dont forget to order the sticky toffee pudding!

Lack lustre - Edit
Nice area but the restaurant felt a little cramped. Quite expensive for what you get. We had the Caribbean curry, which had zero spice, bangers and mash which was delicious and a starter (forgettable) and cocktails which were way too strong I could not even finish it. I expected a lot more from a restaurant as established as this. I would not return.

We were four people, including an omnivore, and we were all delighted. Booking seems a good idea, it was full. The prices are reasonable (starters 8-9 pounds, mains around 16 pounds). World cuisine (we had massa la and risotto). Nice staff.

Not great I’m afraid - Edit
I’ve lived locally for over 40 years and I’ve seen many incarnations at Manna. I’m a vegan but I’m afraid to say this is over priced and just not very good. Pity as it’s around the corner.

Good but not inspiring - Edit
For an all vegan menu we didn't find the food or service very inspiring - in fact fairly ordinary. Instead of a main course we both decided on the option to select 4 side dishes for a set price however when we saw what other tables were served for mains we realised that they were the better choice. In fact I only ate about half of mine before running out of appetite and interest.
