Amazing Staff and Food - Edit
Ate here while visiting Montreal. The staff were amazing as was the food. The tables have drawers and people have left notes in them. It's a special place.

Delicious comfort food - Edit
This restaurant has a large, trendy interior and a nice small patio out front. I sat outside in a group of three and we ordered all our favourite comfort foods to share: caesar salad, poutine, and nachos. We also tried the braised tofu (delicious, but with lots of ground coriander) and the chocolate caramel cake with vanilla ice cream. The Spanish white wine is great. Everything was excellent, the service was a little slow but above average in helpfulness, the prices were reasonable. We enjoyed the atmosphere in Place des Festivals. 10/10 would go back to try the cheesesteak among other dishes.

Great meal on the patio - Edit
We enjoyed this place immensely in August 2021. We sat on the patio and appreciated the many (reusable) bottles of water that they brought to us. I had the cajun burger, which was a unique and spicy sandwich made of sweet potato. The onion ring on it gave a nice crunch. My husband had the "cheesesteak" and he was full for the rest of the day. It was very tasty. Both meals came with salad and fries, which is a very nice touch! We all want fries, but we want to have some salad too.

Definitely worth a visit - Edit
Loved the decor, sad I couldn’t enjoy it due to covid restrictions. Very warm and friendly people who helped me choose my food. Really enjoyed my meal and will be returning next time I’m in Montreal. All in all an excellent experience.

Great option when going to a show or festival downtown - Edit
Directly located on the Place des festivals, you can be directly in the action when there are festivals and events. The food is good, but not the best, I only go there if I attend an event in the area.

Super petit restaurant végane qui à su plaire à mon conjoint flexitarien. Bonne ambiance ainsi qu'un menu très varié et délicieux. Le restaurant en soit est assez petit, mais l'ambiance y est agréable.

Amazing ! - Edit
I loved everything about this restaurant it has a cozy hip vibe, we had a table by the window perfect for people watching. I had the lasagna which was the best vegan lasagna I've ever had served with a caesar salad which was also amazing and for dessert brownie sundae which was super chocolatey and decadent. Definitely recommend you will not be disappointed

A must visit! - Edit
This location of Lola Rosa was our first introduction to the vegan scene in Montreal, and boy was it a good introduction. EVERYTHING we ordered was amazing, especially the vegan poutine, which has a bit of a curry flavor and is made with the tiniest button mushrooms. I ordered the hemp burger with poutine fries on the side, and it was the most perfect, satisfying meal ever. I really felt like I was getting the true Montreal experience! It was so good, that my husband and I even went back the next night - but we were smart the second time and made reservations online! PS try the cauliflower!

Bon resto - Edit

Cozy place with nice vegan options - Edit
Cozy atmosphere, polite staff, generous portions.
Read moreI went there in January 2020 while I was in Montreal and it’s a little hidden gem of a place. The female server was very polite and kind, which made ordering easy (even as I hummed and hawed).
I ended up getting a Cajun burger with fries and added some guacamole. The burger was a great size and they gave me so many fries I didn’t even finish them all! (And who doesn’t love fries enough to eat until they drop?)
I would definitely go back and look forward to trying something else the next time I’m in Montreal.
Pros: Great portion size, Agreeable prices, Polite staff
Cons: It gets damn cold when the door opens and shuts

Lola Rosa is a local veggie favourite. I really enjoyed the yellow curry, there were so many flavours and it came with a smooth avocado sauce. Poutine was good.

Poutine - Edit
Popped into the restaurant yesterday and inquired about veganising the poutine to which I was happily informed that they are now fully vegan which is great. They have some great options that I may try next time but I can say that their poutine was very yummy!

One of my favorite restaurants in Montreal - Edit
Lola Rosa is one of my favorite restaurants in Montreal. 🌹 Their menu is entirely vegetarian, but almost all items can be made vegan on request. Their desserts are mostly vegan. They have a wide range of international foods on their menu. Everything comes in satisfying portions and tastes great. Service is also very friendly.
Read moreEntree: sweet potato quesadilla with rice and salad. The quesadilla can be made vegan on demand. It was topped with a cheezy sauce and stuffed with fresh avocado and a spicy sweet potato puree. 🌮
Dessert: vegan chocolate and caramel pie on a pecan and puffed rice crust. The pie was soooo creamy, rich and decadent. I haven't had a chocolate-based dessert in ages and this definitely hit the spot. 🍫
Pros: Wide selection of vegetarian foods, Many vegan desserts, Most vegetarian foods can be made vegan

It doesn’t get much better - Edit
While vegetarian with extensive vegan (and gluten free and celiac friendly), Lola Rosa has amazed us over three separate visits. The food is varied and inventive, for instance a carrot tartare that is eerily reminiscent of salmon tartare without the guilt and a Tunisian-style tagine that my wife can vouch for from having visited.

Pros: Excellent value, Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options, Varied menu
Cons: It’s not vegan-only (and that’s being picky), I don’t live anywhere remotely nearby!

Fantastic vegan nachos! 😍 - Edit
First - all the desserts are vegan 🙌🏻 The vegan nachos were excellent. Loaded with toppings and full of flavour. It was nice to have vegan nachos that were more than just beans and vegan cheese. Really well done. The vegan poutine was also tasty. Really nice atmosphere & decor plus great service. Really nice but not too fancy with good prices.

I popped in on a whim and I was able to be seated quickly. The staff were really friendly and the food came nice and quickly. I ordered the breakfast burrito with home fries and rice bacon, it was delicious and a really decent price for the portion! I need to come back and try the crepes next time 🤤

Bouffe excellente, c’est même dommage que ce ne soit pas 100% vegan car on aurait envie de mettre 5 étoiles, et les quelques options avec du fromage peuvent facilement être remplacées par du fromage végétal.
