lola rosa was adorable. servers were super kind & the food felt like it was made with love. the chilli bowl was more room temp & the lasagne was freakinn crazy. they were out of a few things which was a bummer & the tables are very close together to maximize seating in their small space but still happy to have found this restaurant

Absolutely loved our meal at Lola Rosa! From the moment we walked in the atmosphere was fantastic and the staff were so warm and friendly. We ordered way too much food but loved it! My order was the Cajun with the fries substituted for the poutine. I did not like the sandwich because the seitan wasn't particularly well seasoned or flavoured and it was quite dry. I think I ordered the wrong items. The poutine was okay, but I wouldn't come back for it (I'd go to La Banquise). The salad was actually quite nice. I am giving 3 stars because: the service was great, my server was so nice and friendly. I also think everyone else had a good meal. I think I just got the wrong thing and I'd give the restaurant another try, but not the Cajun. To help: maybe more mushrooms and onions, perhaps something saucy, and maybe some Cajun flavours. The location was great and I really wanted to like it. Perhaps my expectations were too high.

I passed this place while walking to the art museum. I’m so glad I stopped in. What a delicious treat. I over ordered a bit but it was worth it. I eat a lot of Mexican food so this place had a great unique spin on the dishes.

Really lovely restaurant with friendly staff. A good selection of food, the menu isn't too small or long, but also a variety of choices available, like burgers, sandwiches, lasagna, soup, salad etc. My girlfriend and I ordered the Fried Calamari to start. And Cajun Burger and CheeseSteak Sandwich both came with fries and side salad, very delicious. Can be a little on the pricey side, but delicious food.
