I’ve been veg for a minute so maybe I don’t have good context BuT! their vegan poutine was so good! Had a good salad with nice dressing to go with my French fries lol. The rest of the menu sounded great as well! I’d definitely come by again if I’m ever in Montreal.

The location and staff are amazing. I am happy there are vegan places near a tourist place like this. The food was average, though. The poutine had clearly been heated in the microwave and the food was average even though it was pricey. Wouldn’t come back because there are other vegan places that offer better food.

Food was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and exquisitely tasty. I might need to return here again during this stay in Montreal, or else I must make a point of returning to Montreal (as if I wouldn't ANYway - j'adore Montréal) so that I can revisit Lola Rosa. Yes, it is THAT good!

This place is a must if you want some amazing vegan food. The food is very fresh, tasty and delicious. Prices are actually not that bad either considering it’s right in the middle of Montreal. Desert is also a must!!!

Staff here is super friendly. We asked what was the recommendation and they told us the nachos and it didn’t disappoint at all.

We also got the poutine. It was nice but the fries felt like they were fried in old oil and the cheese sauce didn’t had much flavour. Gravy was more like a mushroom bourguignon, but still tasted nice.
We also had the lemon tart for dessert and it didn’t felt amazing. Too bitter and the flavour felt artificial. So wouldn’t recommend that one.
Loved the drawers on the tables filled with messages from previous customers. Reading through it was a nice thing to do while waiting for the food.

We really enjoyed this spot. For lunch we had the chickpea fries, curry and Rosa salad. I was impressed by the sauces and the variety of vegetables in my salad. The chickpea fries were also a delicious way to start the meal - we were hungry! For dinner I had the ceasar salad with hemp and my partner tried the braised tofu. Ended with carrot cake 😋 each meal was flavorful and delicious. I loved the « bacon » quinoa and capers in the ceasar salad. Atmosphère was fun and staff was friendly. Enjoyed leaving a not in the drawer at our table. If we lived in Montreal, we would go frequently.

I had been excited to try this place due to the many great reviews and recommendations, but both my partner and I were not impressed. The food was not very flavourful and were items that my partner and I could have (and have) made before where they were much tastier and interesting.

Very cosy restaurant, we sat upstairs in the “gallery”. We started with a delicious pamplemousse/pink grapefruit sparkling beverage - loved it! It was hard to choose from the variety of options, but we went with the curry and the spicy tofu with vegetables. The curry was on the sweet side, as it contains a lot of pineapple and mango. The marinated tofu with the veggies was my favorite. For dessert, we shared the lemon pie and the chocolate brownie with coconut ice cream - both fab! Final splurge was the turmeric latte : we went all out!! Our server was extremely charming and knowledgeable. Excellent value, considering the quality of all the offerings.! We will be back next time we visit!

My partner and I had lunch here and were underwhelmed by the experience. Not very flavorful. We ordered the nachos and the burrito and were dissapointed to see that the burrito’s filling is basically the same filling they throw on top of the nachos (which we didn’t love)…. just inside a tortilla.

I loved the ambiance and the look&feel of the restaurant. It is very french/European which is why I was disappointed that there weren't any such cuisine on the menu, but the very standard wraps, burgers, burritos. I wanted something warm so I had the chili, which was good but could have benefited from a bit more spice. The staff are friendly and nice and overall it was a lovely experience.

We stopped for lunch at the Lola Rosa located 2 doors down from Bloom Sushi. Nice outdoor patio. We had the Lola Cheesesteak sandwich, and the Cajun burger. The Cajun burger was a spicy sweet potato burger with a red pepper veggie mix on brioche, served with fries and salad (we upgraded to Caesar). The fries were good, the Caesar was really good. It was topped with fried capers and a drizzle of balsamic. The Cajun burger was too much unrelenting spice in my opinion. I’m not a chef, but I felt it needed something creamy or cool to break up the heat. The cheesesteak was sliced seitan with carmelized mushrooms, onions and peppers on ciabatta served with fries and salad (we upgraded to Caesar). The cheesesteak was the biggest disappointment. The seitan was bland and there was a creamy white sauce that we assumed was meant to replicate cheese, but didn’t have a cheezy flavour. The carmelized onions and peppers were the best part of the sandwich. For dessert we had the brownie with chocolate and peanut butter sauce. It came warm and tasty. So, a mixed bag. We would definitely have the Caesar and dessert again, but the sandwiches we tried were a bit of a miss.

Such a cute little place! Great location with a nice atmosphere. We ate outside which was really comfy but had a ton of bees (not a problem for me but if you have an allergy I would sit inside).
Read moreWe got 3 appetizers which included: the poutine ($12) which is less like poutine but more like cheese fries. Its really good though. The tartare ($12) which is very good, the vegetables taste so fresh. The eggplant bharta ($12) which was very good but could have used a little more spice. The tartare and eggplant had bread to eat with but was easily made gluten free with chips.
For drinks I had a mocktail Laura palmer ($6) which was so refreshing. My spouse had a Moscow mule ($12) which they said was really good.
Overall it's great for lunch and isnt a vegan restaurant with really fresh food. It could use a little more spice but everything we ate was delicious!
