Very cute and cozy Café - Edit
It's a very cute Café but small. You can't make a reservation, only for the afternoon tea. So it can happen you can't sit inside 😕 buuut it's possible to order and take the food with you. We did that! when it's ☀️ you can find some benches close by where you can sit and eat. I found the sandwich a bit expensive but the cake was very delicious 😋 also, the people who work there are very friendly 🙏

Fantastic afternoon tea - Edit
My partner booked for us to come here for an afternoon tea for Valentine’s Day and I couldn’t have been happier! The food was fantastic! We had sandwiches, quiche, scones, muffins, chocolate cake, cheesecake and more. Everything was fabulous! Will definitely be returning before we leave Amsterdam😄

My fiancé and I had a reservation for afternoon tea. It came with 2 pots of tea of our choice and then a surprise variety of foods, some savory and some sweet. The oolong tea was my favorite! The brownie was heavenly and the cheesecake was soo good too. I loved the biscuits with butter and jam as well. My favorite savory item was the frittata.

After reading the reviews was really excited to visit this place but 2 out of 3 of us were disappointed with the food. We live in a city where you can get great vegan food. The chickpea vegan omelette was not like omelette at all, even though you can make amazing fluffy vegan omelettes with chickpea flour. It was like flat pizza bread. I'm not a fan of black salt either & this was a strong component of it. The only veg in it was mushroom. The sandwich bread was not good quality either, and very small. My son liked his quiche though. The 'salad' garnish on the small plates had no dressing, and was just leaves.

Went here to have lunch, what a lovely place this is! I had the smokey tofu sandwich and my boyfriend the frittata sandwich, which were both really tasty. We had a carrot cake afterwards, which was also very good! Staff was very kind, and it's a nice location next to Westerpark.

There is also a very pleasant atmosphere, very nice at the earlier times of the day.

We came there for the pancakes but they told us that they don’t have them anymore since months. Also they told us that many people ask for the pancakes and they think about removing these photos from websites because they don’t have them anymore. 🙈

After arriving, with the bus, in Amsterdam a Saturday morning and we weren’t able to check into our hotel until later, we chose to take a small detour and try breakfast at Koffie Ende Koeck

We ordered a frittata and spinach quiche, which we shared.
The small sprinkles of Mayo on the frittata do not sound like much, but it's just the icing on the cake - brilliant idea!!
We also chose to order a croissant each with our coffee - if you’re there, please try, they are definitely worth it!! With a little touch of orange, it just makes them a little better.
Tip: if you want to try the crossiants, order it when you arrive, because they are so good and they are being sold out so fast!

With all the amazing vegan places in Amsterdam, it's surprising that there are so few vegan cafés. But Koffie ende Koeck is not only that, it's also incredibly cozy, service is super friendly, and the cakes are delicious!

This wonderful cafe not only has absolutely nice staff but also the best passion fruit cheesecake I've ever had. The tofu sandwich is also totally delicious. An absolute tip for anyone who wants to eat and drink outside the city center.

Sublime vegan cake and breakfast - Edit
Went here for breakfast on an autumn morning during a short stay in Amsterdam for a climate march. The staff (who were super friendly and helpful) told me they had just finished baking the croissants. So naturally I ordered the croissants, a scone and a cappuccino. The croissants were indeed freshly baked and had a great texture. The scone was also still warm and was superb as well (it was neither spongy or though, simply perfect). I always enjoy a well made cappuccino and this one was great, it even had a little late art heart on top. Since the cafe has “Koeck” in its name I had to try one of their cakes. I ordered a carrot cake which they gave an Italian twist. The cake was sublime: it had a sweet and spicy taste which mixed well with slightly salted cream on top. A true winner. Finally, the friendly and unpretentious service and relaxed atmosphere are the cherry on top of the good and honest food. I will certainly visit this place again when I’m in Amsterdam. 😄
