Far from the maddening 'A-dam' crowd with seating spots right outside this quaint little place, and a fairly varied selection of cakes even if it was around 2 hours before they close for the day.

The little place is very nice and cozy.
A successfull morning which gave us power for a full packed sight seeing day in Amsterdam.
Came a second time and was surprised again about the amazing food and friendly staff. I love the atmosphere. Will definitely not my last time.

I was at Koffie Ende Koeck with 4 friends, and we ordered the afternoon tea*. It was beautifully served in three layers, and the amount requires you to feeling peckish and crave some cake. Be aware that the distribution is 2/3 cakes/desserts and 1/3 food. So if you expect a majority of food, you might be disappointed.
Read moreThe staff is really nice, and when I ordered table, and I afterwards forgot to tell that one of my friends are gluten allergic, they gave me a lot of tips for glutenfree options in the city.
If you too are gluten allergic, they have one or two options in the menu. But (as they mentioned to me), their kitchen is small, so if you are heavily gluten allergic, be aware of the risk of cross contamination.
So also a huge thanks to the staff to be so transparent.

Read moreI was in the mood for lunch, but the food tower we recieved, was almost entirely made out of cake, 5 pieces of cake with only a few actual food items. I had a very unhealthy lunch today, made me feel a bit uncomfortable. It was also a tad expensive. 65euro for the tower.
Staff was sweet and professional!

Popular and small but super cute all vegan cafe. Me and my friend went halfsies on the chocolate hazelnut cake and the carrot cake. Both were phenomenal!! They serve Bocca coffee, which is my favorite coffee roaster in Amsterdam! We had to come back twice before there was a spot for us on a busy Sunday, but it was totally worth it! We can’t wait to come back and do the afternoon tea package ☺️

This place seems to have gotten a more playful atmosphere since the two new owners took over. The staff are cheerfull, chit-chatty and even sing during work.
Read moreTheir passionfruit cheesecake is the best ever! Also their scones (fruity taste), croissant (with a hint of orange), cinnamon roll, apple-almond pie and carrot cake are good.
They have tasty loose-leaf teas as well, e.g. cherry blossom, white tea and ginger-lemongrass.
The former owner has her own cooking book: Taart ende koeck. Also a recommendation! I made several of her pastries myself and my non-vegan guests loved them (especially the passionfruit cheesecake).

A small and cute café near a canal. They offer sweet and savoury food. We tried a vegan frittata and a chocolate pecan brownie and a chocolate chai tea. It was very good!

Lovely little cafe by Westerpark! Calm and relaxing atmosphere! The cakes were delicious (we tried the carrot cake and the gluten free apple and almond cake). I also had the smoked tofu sandwich which was also fantastic. Prices were very reasonable and the coffee was served in cute cat mugs : 3

Ik had voor thuis nog een paar punten spinazie quiche meegenomen voor de lunch voor de dag erna. Even in de oven opwarmen en we hebben gesmuld.
Eigenlijk zijn alle koeken en taartjes lekker daar. Ik ben hier al een paar keer geweest en ik blijf me verbazen hoe lekker het is.

The tofu sandwich and chocolate cake were delicious!🤤 There was a cold slice of smoked tofu on the sandwich which was very tasty! Tip to do at home too!
I do have to say that they forgot our order because they were busy with my friend’s coffee, so we did waited a long time, but I would still recommend Coffee Ende Koeck.
