Lovely staff and cafe, but food was underwhelming - Edit
Myself and my partner were working nearby and this cafe was recommended to us by a local, vegan colleague. I got two types of sandwiches for us to share and it was healthy, with very nice bread. However I didn't really get much of a difference in flavour between the two sandwiches, and I thought they were a bit underwhelming - when you read the elaborate description on the menu vs. the taste.
Read moreThe staff are very friendly and accommodating (even though they don't take cash, they made an exception). A lovely and cosy atmosphere.
However I wasn't left feeling full or satisfied, I felt like I overpaid a bit too. Their cakes do look delicious and I heard very good reviews, so perhaps I just need to give them another chance!

Lovely location. We only wish we had more time to relax and absorb the atmosphere of this cozy cafe. We were rushing for our train! However, the scones were spectacular. The presentation of their cakes were perfect. We love that they are 100% vegan. We also ordered the frittata but we thought the portion was quite small. So we recommened getting their baked goods instead. We will definitely come back again and again to taste more of their baked goods and absorb the calm atmosphere. It looks like they don't have croissants anymore. We were sad about this.

Next to Westpark... The staff give you the feeling that they put extra love in every dish they make. Cakes changes on a daily basis. They offer breakfast all day long (they love breakfasts!), tea, coffee, sandwiches and more.

Small cafe, it was quite busy when we arrived at about 4pm on a Saturday. We didn’t have to wait long for a seat though. Had a smoked tofu sandwich which was pretty tasty. Nice coffees.

Loved the sandwiches, we tried the tofu and the veggie sandwich and the soup which was lentil and pumpkin I believe was also awesome. My wife also tried one of their cakes (passion fruit) and fell in love with their creme cheese made of tofu, magnificent! Highly recommended overall

My favorite spot in Amsterdam. It is so cozy and you feel like you are visiting a friend for breakfast. I only had the opportunity to go there twice but everything I tried was amazing. The croissant was my favorite because I really miss a good croissant being vegan and this one was so fluffy yet crispy, I still dream of it. I also tried a sandwich and the bread was to die for, it is freshly baked every day. The toppings were also perfectly balanced, it was just delicious. There are also homemade cakes that are also amaaaaaahzing. I could have just eaten there through our entire stay😄the coffee was also very good, I had an oat milk latte and it was served right at drinking temperature which will be a pleasant surprise to you if all you drink is Starbucks and burn your mouth on it all the time. Soooo if you are in Amsterdam this is a must eat! I will be back for sure ♥️

The chzcake tasted like yogurt. Which is taste I do not like. I'm usually into cashew ones. So if you like yogurt it's for you. They might change it up.
The marble cake was cold which wasn't so great. It was a little dry for me.
The apricot cake wasn't sweet enough for me.
The lavender iced cookie had a cakey texture with a lemon and lemongrass flavor. It was amazing. I got a second one. The flavor combo was fancy and nuanced.
We came near closing time and ordered hot tea. We also loved the experience of trying out all the desserts and drinking tea even if most of the desserts weren't great to me. I'm sure I could have had better things if I came in the morning when things are baked fresh.

Beautiful cosy place. Close to the Westerpark (across the street), great staff (especially the owner seems to be a sweetheart). Mostly warm drinks and sweets like pies, cookies. Always lot of different options. A vegan high tea!!! Very nice!!!

This is the kind of cosiness you simply want to bottle and keep for ever. An utterly delightful place set gorgeously on a corner of a gorgeous canal lined street bordering Westerpark. Once inside you could just melt with awe as the cakes and other vegan delights are visible on the counter, Get a window seat if you can, you'll love it. Seating is limited at approximately 10-12. It's all vegan and you can get some decent sandwiches as well as beautifully presented cakes. We had a huge slice of chocolate cake to share. It was sublime, nice and light with a really tasty filling and icing. €2 will get you a coffee and €3-4 a piece of cake. They also do a London Ritz style bumper high tea where you can indulge in a stack of sandwiches and vegan sweet and savoury delights at €19.95 per person. I can imagine that being a long but enjoyable sitting. It was definitely worth the 25 minute walk from IJdok to get here.
