Mouth Meltingly Good Food in Cozy Spot Off Beaten Path - Edit
All the food we tried was excellent, but the appetizers in particular were mind blowing. We worked our way through drinks, starters, appetizers, soups, and main dishes Short version: excellent vibes and music. It's the kind fo place you'd want to go to on a really great date or with good friends.

About portion sizes: our portion sizes were excellent. We left not with a belly hurting because it was so full, but more a feeling of solid comfort level of full.
Long version:
I had the Indigo Magic mocktail, which was a melange of sweet notes mixing with spirulina. The combo was sophisticated.
We also had the bread with aioli and olives, which was good, but the eggplant appetizer was incredible. The dish consisted of eggplant, bulgar, black tahini, and kale chips. Each bite was creamy and flavorful in a variety of ways.
The Mexican sushi was the only thing that could top it. Each bite was heaven. Light and amazing. The chipotle mayo elevated it to a whole new level of heaven.
The broccoli gnocchi with a sun dried tomato sauce was very creamy and also evoked some subtle savory notes.
The waiter brought us a strawberry and almond crumble at the end of our meal--it came with mandarin curd bubbles and creme. Like many vegan desserts in Europe, it was less about being heavy and sweet (as so many America desserts are) , and more about lightness, freshness, and layers of airy perfection.
The service wasn't fast--but I think it was about on par with other places in Amsterdam.
The restaurant was so cozy in off white with warm lighting and different textures in the lights, seats, tables. I instantly felt myself relaxing as the music gave off an international lounge groove.

This place is lively and cosy, but gets loud and is quite expensive. The portions are also on the small side. However, you get original dishes and drinks, and most of them are flavoursome.

I really recommend the quinoa sushi and the jalapeno starters, the oyster mushroom dish and the kind of blue tagliolini.
It was also nice to discover reasonable non-alcoholic wine.
Points for improvement: It's nice that they have a dj for the music, but it's a little too loud for a restaurant where you actually come to converse. About the buckwheat gnocchi dish - I think the plating should be different, it resembles dog food right now...

Wow, this was such a nice surprise! Just happened to have dinner here and it was so good! We all loved the starters (Mexican style sushi especially, sounds weird but trust me on this one) and the mains were wonderful too (spirulina pasta with a lemony ‘cheesy’ sauce was my favorite but the broccoli gnocchi was favorite with my teenage nieces). Nice lemonades, very attentive and friendly service. Not cheap but worth every euro in my opinion

If you enjoy fine dining, this is the place to go. All dishes we chose showed off the chef's creativity: colors, textures, and details were exquisite. Service by the international staff was very friendly. With each course, they brought us a small amuse-bouche, which was a very nice touch. We chose roasted leek & potato soup and the Mexican-inspired sushi. The soup was especially tasty! Our main courses were buckwheat lentil gnocchi, black charcoal ravioli, and a mixed salad. For dessert, we shared the strawberry & almond crumble and also received a matcha semifreddo amuse bouche. Kombucha and a golden turmeric latte rounded out our meal. The food was delicious, portions were adequate and we did not leave feeling hungry. Overall, a very special dining experience!

The reason I don’t give 5 stars it’s because I found it a bit expensive compared to other really good vegan restaurants in Amsterdam. I understand why, giving their concept, but still i found it a bit overpriced.
