Delicious Danish fløderboller! - Edit
These are the best fløderboller I've ever had. Ok, they're also the only fløderboller I've ever had, but they're really really good.
Read moreThese are traditional Danish treats made of a small amount of cake, a thin layer of belgian chocolate, and filled with a sweet, foamy, mallowy center. I guess the center is usually made from egg whites but here they're made from aquafaba (chickpea water).
You can have the foam flavoured a number of different flavours - generally fruits but also mocha, salted caramel and vanilla ones. We bought four for 100DKK, cut them all in half, and had four halves each for breakfast. Bit of a sugar rush but wow, they all tasted incredible.
This would make a good gift from Denmark but be aware that they're quite fragile. Overall, I was really impressed. A must for vegans in Copenhagen!

I had never even heard of flødeboller until I came across Glean but I’m super glad I found out about this! I tried the lemon curd flødeboller and was really impressed. It wasn’t too sweet and was really delicious.

Ich habe wohl zum ersten mal seit Jahren endlich wieder einen Schokokuss gegessen der genauso schmeckt wie die "echten". Echt unfassbar gut, ich hätte am liebsten von jedem eins gegessen. Wäre aber recht teuer geworden da die genauso wie alles andere zu essen in Kopenhagen ziemlich teuer sind. Es gibt außer den klassischen verschiedene Sorten wie Mokka, Himbeer, Salted Caramel, Yuzu etc.. der Boden ist einmal aus sowas wie marzipan gewesen und be den anderen 3 die wir hatten aus normalem Keks.

At Glean, finally you can have some sweets again that probably weren't available to you since you became vegan! And better yet: the vegan flodeboller are much better than any non-vegan flodeboller I have had in my life.
Read moreI also tried the p-taerter with peanuts, they are amazing. Also tried the fudge, but to be honest, that's not their best product, in my opinion (not bad, but I wouldn't buy it again).
The products are quite expensive, but it is all handmade, it is something special and you support a business that probably makes "going vegan" more easy and attractive - nobody has to abstain from flodeboller anymore!

Amazing cream buns! - Edit
We were at the shop and the kind man initiated a nice conversation and offered a little tasting of a bar with marshmallow and peanuts - incredibly delicious. We then bought three different cream buns - a lemon curd, a passion fruit and a mocha with salted caramel. They were absolutely tasteful and you had no idea that they were vegan. Highly recommend.
