Indian cuisine is not my favourite because I don't really like spices, are too strong for my stomach, and apart from that it is nothing you can't make at home: rice or any legume with veggies. And the veggies are the worst, just onions and peppers.
Glad I could feel my stomach and they allowed me to with very good service. :)

There was a wide range of vegan options and everything else was vegetarian. The waiters were very friendly and we didn't have to wait long for our meals. The food was delicious and not too expensive. A reservation is recommended.

There are lots of options which is great.
Read moreBut all of the food we had was honestly a bit disappointing. BUT we're all from the UK and think maybe we have different expectations for Indian food - the dishes were all quite watery and not very spicy.
We also had to wait outside for 20 minutes to get in - it says they open at 12:00, but no one opened up until 12:20....

Vegan mains are seperate on menu (two pages), but not the starters, so not really clear at first sight what's vegan (there is an indication of lactose free, which is rather strange .. ).
Friendly service. But no Dutch spoken (English).
Toilet could be cleaner.
PS: Gave a Happy Cow window sticker, but the waitress had no idea what Happy Cow was. Hope they put it up!

2022: Vegan options clearly indicated on menu. Most of menu is vegan.
Had the tofu jalfreezi and the peas & curry, both 15€ (which is very reasonable, for the city center of Bruges).
Nice food, a lot of sauce though. Loved the garlic bread!
Service was swift and friendly, and food came swiftly (but there was just one other party of 3 present, who were already served).
Rather small restaurant. Not accessible, step to get in. One toilet at the back, no accessible toilet. Handfull of outdoor seatings in front, with view at Belfry.

Super surprised that in expensive Belgium we could find an Indian that was so cheap! We had the vegetarian and vegan thali as recommended by one of the other Happy Cow users and were not dissapointed! Lots of delicious food for a small price. We were lucky to have a reservation as it was busy on a Saturday evening.

We both had the vegan thali €22 each. Really enjoyed it. 1/2 litre glass bottle of water expensive at €5.90 which might be normal for Belgium. No tap water.

Lots of clearly marked vegan options, about half the menu. Nice place centrally located near the main square. We had the korma, two types of rice, garlic naan and onion salad. The korma was paler than I was expecting but it was all really delicious, would definitely recommend.
