This place is great vibes, big servings and delicious options. We stopped here on a big day of adventuring and had excellent fries (like think shoe string if that makes sense) and awesome sandwiches!

Had the hashcakes and french toast sticks, would probably get the cheese next time for the hash! The drinks are not sweet, but there’s sugar if you want to make them sweet!

Much Needed All Vegan Breakfast in SF - Edit
This place is great. Same owner as Judahlicious. True comfort food and all vegan. For those who have lived in the Bay Area, think Herbivore but faster, fresher and tastier.
Read moreI’ve been waiting forever for a vegan breakfast spot in SF and they did not disappoint.
Got the chorizo style breakfast burrito, and it was spicy and flavorful. The potatoes were cooked well. My son got French Toast and it was crispy on the outside, fluffy and soft on the inside.
Pros: Fast service/food is hot and fresh, Great menu, Close to the beach
Cons: Parking can be an issue if you have to drive

The excesses of American tipping culture - Edit
This is a place with almost no service. They bring your food to your table, but that's it. You have to order and pay for it at the counter, you have to go get your utensils, napkins and condiments, you have to bring your dishes back when you're done and if the people sitting before you left a mess on the table, you have to clean it up.
Read moreAll of this is fine. However, you are expected to leave a tip before you've gotten your food, and standing in front of the person at the counter. So, they're taking advantage of people's anxieties to force their hand and increase their prices, and you don't even know yet if you will get your food quickly, if it will be good... If I remember correctly the suggested tips start at 15%, so if you want to leave, say, 10% you have to add a custom amount, which again, many people are too anxious to do. Guilting people into leaving a minimum 15% tip when they are not getting any service is not cool.
Onto the food. Well, it's all vegan, so that's great. The French toast was pretty good, though it was a bit more donut-y than French toast-y. The salted caramel iced latte was bad: all salt with no sweetness to balance it out. I'd come back to try more things but nothing that I saw made me feel that I have to hurry up.

* French toast plate - surprisingly delicious, it's hard to find good vegan French toast in my experience. Kinda wish I got the small side though, it was a lot. It would have been nice to have like a fruity jam over it as an alternative to Maple syrup too.

Casual and comforting vegan brunch venue near the Ocean! Some great dishes that are a must-try, but the menu rarely changes, and they don’t have a lot of healthy options.

I love this place. Every time I come here the food and service are amazing.
Read morealways have the hash cakes, they are nice and crispy on the outside and soft and steamy on the inside. The cheez sauce is my favorite.
Today I also tried a biscuit, it was flaky, crunchy, and buttery - it came with butter and a super tasty blueberry jam. It was the best biscuit I've had in a very long time.
The french toast sticks are also really good, they have a nice crunch on the outside, almost like a churro.
The Sunset Fog is a great beverage to keep you warm on cooler, foggy days like today. It had just the right amount of sweetness.
I can't wait to come back for lunch!
Pros: Outside seating, Friendly staff, Fun atmosphere

Lovely little cafe with nice indoor seating. Fairly small range of options, but everything we had was tasty and we returned several times. Hash cakes and sweet bakes (cookies and cinnamon buns) were particularly good.

Flavorful, comforting, beautiful! - Edit
Super tasty vegan comfort food only a block from Ocean Beach! My favorite item is the breakfast burrito (perfect balance of tofu, veggies and carbs -- add the fennel sausage or chorizo for an extra flavor explosion), but I also adore the hash cakes, crunch wrap, Brussels sprouts (with lime and salt!) and cauliflower wings. I've tried every food item on the menu and haven't been let down once. The coffee is first rate, too! Also the cookies😉Excellent spot for a lingering lunch with a friend or a quick grab-and-go. Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Both outdoor and indoor seating. Dog friendly. Clean, inviting, joyful vibe for when you're craving some quality vegan comfort food.

Sweet and Savory - Edit
I ordered the Plain Jane Hashcakes, which are three small discs of fried potatoes. They were well-seasoned, so I didn't regret the lack of sauce. However, they're more of a side than a full meal. I also ate a cinnamon roll, so the sweetness balanced out the savory hashcakes.

Cute little brunch and lunch place - Edit
I found the food delicious. I had the french toast which was crunch and chewy just perfect with a side of fruit and delicious vegan butter and maple syrup. My partner had tofu scramble with toast and side of hot cakes I think its what it was called, basically a large tater tote. The tofu scramble was very flavorful. The presentation of both dishes was beautiful and done with care. I would definitely come back again. There are few seatings indoor and there are actually a few bar seats surprisingly. There are outdoor seating but it was cold with San Francisco weather and being so near the beach. Nice location a few blocks from the beach as well. The staff was really friendly and attentive. I would definitely come here again.

A good option for breakfast/brunch/lunch in a neighborhood that's scarce on options. Food is nice and staff friendly. They have a good coffee machine and use beans from a local roaster, Lady Falcon.

Great spot at the beach - Edit
Went for breakfast and had the breakfast burrito with fennel sausage added and the mushroom and onion hash cakes. There were several items on the menu that I couldn’t try because of the cashew based cheese/my cashew allergy, but I was happy with what I ordered, very tasty and filling. It would be nice if the menu specified which items on the menu are nut free, but I just made sure to ask and it was totally fine. I will have to come back for lunch sometime soon.
