Brunch @the Beach - Edit
We loved our brunch on a gorgeous sunny morning. The French toast sticks were a decadent delight. The full order was probably too much for us to share, but we still managed to eat it! Next time, we'll get the half order. We also really liked our mushroom and onion hash cakes. The salted caramel latte and mocha rounded out the perfect weekend brunch. We will be back to try the lunch fare.

Incredible! - Edit
Bar none, the best tofu scramble I've ever eaten. What is in there?? So flavorful and delicious. The French toast sticks were also incredible, with fresh fruit and veg. Such a happy place by the beach.

Delicious breakfast! - Edit
Went to the spot for breakfast and got their breakfast burrito with a black and tan coffee. The vegan whipped cream on the black and tan coffee is unmatched. Also got phenomenal baked goodies. My heart was full and my belly was happy leaving this place.

Happy Breakfast - Edit
Great find for breakfast before heading out of town. Really good energy with pleasant people. I got the tofu scramble which was okay - Not the best I've had but the hash cakes were pretty solid.

Tucked right across the street from the beach, this gem is not to be missed. Lovely staff and atmosphere, great menu and excellent food. We had the French Toast which was sooo good, the Buffalo Bites, Buffalo Mac n Cheezen, and some Carrot Cake to go.

Our Brunch Fav - Edit
We drive out to the City about once a month to get some of this yummy food. Our absolute favorite thing is the crunch wrap. It’s so good! We also enjoy the hashcakes. I didn’t care for their banh mi, it really didn’t taste like a banh mi to me…I’m not even sure if they’re still selling it. Everything else is really good, the only things that we haven’t ordered yet are their scrambles.

Yummi - Edit
We took the chicken sandwich in this 100% plant based menu. The chicken was great, I am really impressed, as the rest of the sandwich honestly. And the chocolate chips cookie was good too !
Read moreWhen we came in the restaurant was pretty busy. They only bring food to the table, you have to clean your own table if the previous guests were messy. And it's required to bring your plates and stuff at the end on the tray.
It's close to the beach but you probably guess it from the name of the place !
We were there Saturday around 1pm and it was awful to find a parking spot
Even if there are few "dark" spots on the experience the great food compensated it largely and I will come back with pleasure !
Pros: THE FOOD
Cons: THE PARKING SITUATION

Please get Leo’s cakes, I have been craving those for days now. The french toast sticks were so good. The burritos were okay, I wouldn’t order them again, but I’m happy I tried them. Hot chocolate was good. Chai latte not as much.

Laid Back Deliciousness - Edit
This us a super cute cafe right by the beach. The food is fresh and yummy. They make their own chorizo which starred in a scrumptious burrito. The potato cakes are outrageous, too.

Beach’n is awesome! - Edit
Beach’n is my happy place. It’s where I go to celebrate, when I’m happy, sad, or want to take a guest when I show them around San Francisco. It’s also dog friendly and only a block away from Ocean Beach.
Read moreSome of my favorite dishes are:
1. The crunch wrap. I always get this, and I am never disappointed. It’s filled with crunchy, beany, guacy goodness. The vegan chipotle sauce it comes with is great for dipping. Sometimes I wish I had more of it.
2. The buffalo mac and cheese is another go to favorite. Beach’n makes great vegan cheese sauce, and the buffalo mac and cheese is super filling.
3. The French toast sticks are amazingly crispy on the outside and light on the inside. A half order is enough for one person.
4. The cheezen hash cakes are delicious. The potato hash are served with Beach’n’s cheese sauce. Writing this write now makes me crave it.
5. The black and tan is a cold brew topped with vegan whipped cream. The whipped cream is made from fava bean aquafaba and spiced with cinnamon. I could eat a bowl of just the whipped cream it’s that good.
I’ve never had a dish at Beach’n I didn’t like. It’s always worth a visit!

Tasty but pricey - Edit
Location is great being just a block off the beach and the restaurant is cute and clean for sit down. I love the food when I order here. Only downside is certain things are overpriced and I have been disappointed in the portion size for how much I pay. Go in expecting the higher prices but know the meal will be yummy! I recommend the pastries in the window display too - super rich and non-vegans wouldn’t guess it’s vegan.

Vegan french toast! - Edit
Beach'n has very good hours - it's got brunch items all day so you can order "French Toast Sticks" to share with a friend -- or get a large order to take home (they heat a treat in the toaster oven!). The hash brown cakes are outstanding. I haven't had a single thing on this menu that I would not recommend.

So happy to have found this place while in SF for an early Morning appointment! Super friendly staff and delicious food just blocks from Ocean Beach! I had the hash cakes smothered in cashew cheese and umaro bacon!! Places like this make me wish I lived in SF and not out in the burbs! Same owner as Judahlicious just 3 blocks away, where you can go for smoothies and a more extensive menu.

Tofu Sunset Bánh Mi was pretty good. A little soggy on the bottom cause of juices.

It’s so much fun to take a trip out to Ocean Beach and eat at this cute cafe (airy indoor or outdoor seating amidst the flowers). Everything I’ve tried on the menu so far (after three visits) has been amazing! Their drinks are super yummy too. Definitely an up and coming SF favorite!

Decent lunch - Edit
I had a decent lunch here on a sunny Sunday and the place was popular, with a steady queue of people. The server recommended the crunch wrap which was simply presented—with just a dip to go with it—but tasty. I would've liked a little salad on the side to accompany.
