Give this place a try! - Edit
Honestly, when we turned up at this place I was very put off by the outside. It's shabby and down a little alleyway that looks like it's leading to houses... And it is but go down there and try it out. The seating area is cosy and has lots of kiddies 'go vegan' handmade posters on the wall which was very sweet!
Read moreThe food is so good here! We tried both the Banhs and they were INCREDIBLE! so incredible we ordered another to take away with us. We also tried the spring rolls and pillow donut and they were nice too. All the food is so cheap! About 80p for a big baguette sandwich is so good!!
Pros: Delicious and very cheap
Cons: Shabby outside, location not great.

Hidden Gem - Edit
Don't let the outside put you off! We walked down a little shady Alley way and made our way into the little restaurant, which just looked like it was someone's house.
Read moreWith some trepidation we looked through the menu, which is only small but ordered our food I tried a little bit of everything on the menu.
Our Bahns came and we immediately knew we had made the right choice, delicious! We started to look around the room to see all the pictures and drawings made by the children in the house "animals aren't food" signs. Even the sign not asking for a tip, just for some nice words on here and trip advisor and we realised we had stumbled onto a lovely wholesome little hidden gem.
To top it all off it was amazing value for money we spent 80000VND and I had nearly everything on the menu for that!
Pros: Price, Small family run, Authentic
Cons: Not much choice, Not aesthetically pleasing

Delicious veggie banh mi - Edit
Had the first banh mi of the menu and a pillow donut and both were very yummy! 20k VDN for a banh mi and 10k VDN for the pillow donut (samosa like). It’s a super small street food store and you need to go in the small alley to find it. Worth walking 20 min from my hotel to get it. 🙂

Great banh mi! - Edit
Super small place hidden in an alley but crowded with the local business people for lunch. That’s a good sign, isn’t it! And the food is delicious. One of the best banh mi since middle/south of Vietnam!

Authentic street food in the vegan version! Family restaurant with a small space to eat (traditional vietnamese house), you can also order to take away. Delicious banh mi and other street food delicacies. They open 11am - 7pm, closed Saturday, Sunday and national holidays.

So tasty! - Edit
I ordered everything on the menu in one go (didn’t even amount to 100k!). Most to take away in a sustainable recycled packaging and no plastic. Love the tastes, the coziness, the hardworking young family! The little girl (their daughter) is so smart and friendly, she’ll help you translate between English and Vietnamese.

I tried the vegan banh mi with seitan today and it was very good. You have to cross the gate from the street to find this hidden gem. The big red and yellow sign (vegan banh mi) will guide you. Highly recommended!

Tasty, budget banh mi - Edit
Quick service, delicious fresh banh mi. The meat replacement had a good texture and wasn’t off-puttingly meaty. The sandwich was stuffed with plenty of fresh herbs and chilli sauce was available.

Delicioso - Edit

Delicious and cheap vegan Banh Mi - Edit
Small amazing restaurant where you can try authentic Vietnamese food like Banh Mi - with the huge plus that everything is vegan. We tried nearly everything on the menu and weren’t disappointed. Everything is amazing and the prices are a bargain. The whole family lives vegan since 7 years and we talked for a while with their 9 year old daughter. They really embrace the vegan lifestyle which is amazing.

Delicious, cheap, genuine - Edit
It can be hard to find vegan food that is genuine street food, so much of it is overpriced yoga loving health food for too cool for school westerners. This place is the real deal down a back alley and it's delicious. Can be ordered on the Now app for delivery too.
