Excellent food but a bit pricey - Edit
The food was really good. Be careful though if you’re celiac as me as cross-contamination is an issue there.

Amazing SF Vegan Restaurant - Edit
The first impression is the terrific ambiance and vibe plus wonderful vegan messages in the menu and around the restaurant. The food is creative and delicious. We had the Mexican corn cakes for an appetizer and the Green Forest pizza for our entree. Outstanding. Highly recommend!

Yum - Edit
I LOVED the Mexican Corn Cakes, LOVED the Risotto Pomodoro, but when I went back the next day, the mushroom fritters just didn’t sit right. They were delish, but I think it was just too much oil/frying.

Happy Dance - Edit
Wildseed, oh Wildseed, how you have captured my heart with your delicious vegan cuisine! I walked in skeptical, but left as a full-blown believer in the power of plant-based goodness. The menu is a bit daunting, but don't fret, the servers are more helpful than a GPS when you're lost on a road trip.
Read moreThe food was so good, I think it might actually be possible that I hallucinated the whole experience.
My other vegan friend was equally thrilled with their meal, and I swear I saw them do a little happy dance in their seat (or they had to pee really bad, I've been wrong before). The ambiance is great too, with a cool lil vibe that screams "I'm trendy, but also down to earth."
Your taste buds will thank you, and you might even convert a carnivore into a veggie lover.

Best restaurant ever - Edit
I wish I lived here so I could go back often. I think this is the best restaurant I have ever been to. Went for brunch and the food was fresh and creative. I had a snap pea cocktail and it was delicious! Staff was fantastic. Would give 6 stars if I could.

A must - Edit
Awesome food and attention. The dessert we had was soooo delicious. Also, is not as expensive as $$$ (compared to SF restaurants in general), I would say $$.

Beautiful Vegan Establishment in SF - Edit
Lovely location and delicious dessert! I was super stoked to finally check out this place (all the hype) post-hike with my fur pal, but upon arrival the vibes were off.
Read moreIt’s indeed a lovely location and the dessert was great (Vanilla-Coconut Panna Cotta) with the pineapple kombucha, but personnel seemed over it? IMO everyone looked disengaged; could be a one-off. Over the phone they were super kind saying my fur pal and I could sit outside with no issues, I was even feeling super lucky girl status as I scored parking close-by (minus it had a 30 minute limit).
I’d try them again, if they keep up the tasty desserts!
Pros: Fully Vegan/Plant-Based • Seasonal Eats, Lovely Area: Cow Hollow - Pacific Heights, Tasty Dessert and Refreshing Pineapple Kombucha
Cons: Spendy (SF Pricing), Personnel Seemed Distracted (Hope They’re OK), Parking May Be Limited • 30 mins (~$3)

Amazing for a night out or a brunch. Really respect what they’re doing by bringing so many non-vegans in. Good N/A drinks also!

Great food, lots of selections. The polenta cakes were delectable, and the Neatball Masala bowl was super filling and delicious, the sauces were absolutely scrumptious. Will be visiting again and trying more of their wide selection of dishes and drinks.

Eclectic vegan menu in the Marina neighborhood of SF - Edit
I went to WIldseed with my mom in town from out of state. She follows a mostly plant based diet. I am a longtime vegan.
Read moreService was friendly. We had a 12pm reservation and already was a line to get in. Made me happy that so many folks were going to enjoy vegetable forward vegan cuisine.
Problem with an all vegan restaurant is too many options. Wildseed offers hand held like veggie burgers, curry, pizza, lots of starters, salads, and bowls.
Me and my mom both went with the Harvest bowl. It was a healthy and flavorful bowl. The Harvest Bowl had warm super grains, pea tendrils, purple yams, radishes, cauliflower, carrot, asparagus, peas, avocado, pickled onions, turmeric-ginger sauce, sunflower, pumpkin, and chia seeds.
Just enough of each to form an eclectic flavor packed nutrient dense bowl. Yummy! We both enjoyed it.
I am a big fan of cats. I love the paintings of tigers and cheetah near the restroom. Look forward to coming back!

Tastiest meal I had in SF - Edit
I went here with a group for my birthday and had the best meal of my stay in SF. Everyone in the group commented on how good it was and I was the only vegan.
Read moreI had the Peruvian tofu skewer which was out of this world—the sauce was packed with flavour and the vegetables were unusual and had a great variety of textures. The panna cotta was my highlight of the desserts, but the crumble (which I normally wouldn't go for) was surprisingly good, with a lovely almond flavour.

Too yummy for 1 visit - Edit
There’s so much good stuff on the menu that you need more then one visit. If you are just visiting like us and only have one opportunity then I suggest you share your dining partner’s dinner! 🤪. We had the mezze plate to start . It was pleasant but not overwhelming fabulous. To my liking there was too much oil on the arugula salad - but the pickled onions were great.
Read moreThen the spaghetti and meatballs - superb and the Primavera risotto - delicious. Very fresh and tasty. Dessert was apple crumble. Not too sweet, just the right mix of apples and crumble. Glad I was sharing because by the end we were both stuffed.
Go to this restaurant. It’s AWESOME 🤩
Pros: Pretty much everything is great, Apple crumble 😋
Cons: Oil - you don’t need oil on arugula!, Not in my home city 😢

The fried Chxn sandwich is insane - Edit
If you are craving a hearty bug healthy meal this is perfect. The fried chxn sandwich will blow your mind. Also a great place to bring non-vegans; most won’t even be able to tell it’s a fully vegan restaurant. The staff is always super friendly and it’s a pretty atmosphere too!

I've been going here since it opened and I'm always satisfied. I've tried the entire menu of course but I have some go to choices. The andalusia salad is amazing and I really like the sausage and peppers pizza. The menu is seasonal so things come and go but if they have the corn cakes order them or the brussels sprouts with peppers double down. Solid brunch too. This is a great spot for special occasions and date nights.
