Nice setting - Edit
The set up is nice with plants around it, free ginger tea and water. They have several vegan options. We went for the vegan curries. The panang curry was quite decent and the red one was ok but unusally sweet as it had a lot of pineapple in it, which I had not expected as was not specified on the menu (I'm slightly allergic to pineapple so left all the pinapple for my husband to eat which left me with only a few veggies). Green curry lacked in flavor and the massaman curry frankly was just bland with hardly any spices at all. We had ordered spicy chickpeas as a side, but those were not really spicy either. We have had really good thai curries on our trip so these ones just could not compete. Maybe the Western food options would have been a better choice at this restaurant. Also tried two smoothies, the masala one and one with basil in it - unfortunately the blender did not blend it fine enough so there were quit big pieces of basil in there which I really did not like, the masala one also was not my cup of tea. Best stick to the free ginger tea which is actually tasty.

Thank you for your kind review.
Read moreOur curries are for some guests too spicy, for others not spicy at all. We try to make the curries medium spicy, as most of our guests prefer that.
We noted your comment of the greens in the smoothie.
Thank you again for your feedback in order to keep improving our service.

Nice little find - Edit
We visited this place once, it was a lovely find and the restaurant itself was great, but the area was a little dodgy.
Read moreWhen we arrived, we weren’t too sure what to do and no one was around to ask so, we just sat down, and someone finally came out from the back, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The hummus was good although I didn’t like the celery or peppers there were still enough of the other sticks to enjoy all the hummus. My wife enjoyed the avocado dip which she orders as well as tucking into mine for a try!
For main I had one of the special curries which was delicious, full of fresh flavour and my wife had the Viva burrito which was good but not as good as the curry in my opinion which I think was mainly due to a harder to chew green piece of vegetable in the wrap causing it to become very messy.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed this place and would have visited again if it was in a better location to everything else in the little town.
If you are in the area I would highly suggest you give this place a go if you fancy something healthy and a bonus is you get free water and a flavoured healthy tea!
Would have been 5 star if fully vegan!
Pros: vegan alternatives for most
Cons: location

Ok - Edit
Meal was ok, but be careful when ordering. Few options are marked vegan, but they’re not 🙂 the staff told me, that there something wrong with the menu for a long time and they know it...

Hi Klara,
Read moreOur menu is 80 % vegan, with the other 20 % vegetarian (breakfast with eggs etc.)
There is nothing wrong with the menu, all items that are marked vegan are vegan indeed. Not sure what the staff was saying about a wrong menu.
Thank you for your visit.

Heavy vegan delights! - Edit
It’s quite expensive but they have big portions and the pancakes are sooo good! Shakes and smoothies are great but super filling! It’s all a bit heavy.

Why??? - Edit
Why they started serving meet and left just a few options for vegans for lunch. And even veggie burher is not vegan - bun isnt vegan. They do have smoothies and juices, but so few real vegan options. Just a shame Moreover, I never had so bad service so far. They just dont come to you. And when you are asking the waitress to come shr just comes for a sec.and when you starting to ask something just going #facepalm. Really bad and not caring. Food has almist no taste. No salt. No spices. Very small amount of sauce comes aside. But looking good for photos. And tastes good after adding lots of stuff.

It's always interesting to read comments from a local competitor. It is well know on the island that Olesya has a prejudice against restaurants that serve a mixture of vegan and vegetarian items.
Read moreOur menu is 90 % vegan, and 10 % vegetarian.
We offer the choice of a vegan burger and a vegetarian burger (the bun has been made with whey - a milk protein, but the rest of the dish is 100% vegan). The distinction is clearly mentioned in the menu with symbols.
Complaining about 'no service' is unfair, as it is clearly mentioned on table stands and on every page of the menu one should place its order at the counter (just like in Starbucks). Once ready the order will be brought to the table.
We are grateful for Olesya's comment that our food looks great: we use only the freshest ingredients and try to get locally sourced vegetables, that' s why the colours are so vibrant. We work hard to make sure the presentation of every dish is on point.
This improves the guests' tasting experience and appreciation of used ingredients, but unfortunately not in this case.
We do hope that Olesya will give us another chance and that her future visit will better meet our standards of excellence.

Hi Abbie,
Read moreThanks for taking the time to write a review.
You state that we are overpriced:
Our cheapest dish costs 120 thb (3 € / 4USD) for an omelette (2 free range eggs), baked shitake mushrooms, grilled tomato, a small decorative salad and a whole wheat toast.
Our most expensive dish costs 320 thb (8 € / 10 USD) for a big vegan burrito with lots of avocado, red beans, greens, guacamole, tomato salsa, grilled peppers...
Everyone receives free water and free homemade ginger tea or fresh lemongrass tea.
We use lots of superfoods (goji berries, chia seeds...) and try wherever possible to buy organic ingredients (cacao, flour,...) .
Last time I was in the West I paid more for a lousy veggie burger with fries in McDonalds.

Loved this place. Delicious juices. We order the mushroom burger (wonderful) and the burrito bowl (I think that's what it was called). Really yummy. Loads of options for vegan/veg. Really cool vibe too, and offered free ginger tea on the day we went (I LOVE ginger tea!!!)

Good options, cosy vibe, nice touch - Edit
The menu is mainly vegan, but also provide a couple choices for non-veg healthy light meal. The food is simple but delicious, with very lovely garnish for every dish. The restaurant positions themselves as "flexitarian" diet. I and my husband (a vegan and a meat eater) really enjoyed our meal together here. Recommended. :)

Amazing quality food - Edit
Rustic restaurant set in Lamai. Excellent mix of vegan and non vegan food. Great for all the family. Everything tastes fresh and cooked to order. Also a variety of raw foods. The staff care about the customers. Water and a cup of their homemade tea are served at the beginning of your meal for free which is a nice touch.
