Great breakfast - Edit
Had breakfast at Vital Foods and it was delightful. Breakfast bagel and wrap, stuffed with delicious vegan ingredients filling and scrumptious. The guys that run the place are very helpful and friendly, and the environment sleek, clean and bright.

We visited Vital Foods right after arriving from the States and while struggling with jet lag. The tofu burrito was recommended by the person by the counter and did not disappoint! Cute atmosphere and great spot to rest a bit while exploring the city.

Great vegan place in the city centre - Edit
Not far from the National Museum, this great vegan place is easy to find. There’s a good selection for breakfast and lunch. I’ve been here twice and each member of staff I’ve met has been very welcoming and helpful. The food is delicious and filling with great portion sizes.

An easy lunch in the city - Edit
After leaving the nearby National Museum, Vital Foods was a great place to duck into out of the rain for a bite to eat. The restaurant was quite busy with limited seating options (perhaps due to the rain, but the only downside), yet the food was prepared quite promptly and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Black Beans & Sweet Potato Burrito, which was quite filling.

We had the plantgurt, breakfast burrito with Egger, Potato and Sriracha, a basil & tomato bagel and a Egger bagel, paired with some orange juice and the best cup of coffee we’ve had for a while.
Absolutely delicious! We will be back, to try the rest of the menu 😋

Has a smallish but adequate menu to choose from. Food tastes good while feeling healthy and doesn't take long to prepare. The place itself seems really clean and the staff are friendly. Definitely a great spot for breakfast especially when you don't have much time to wait around.

Great little place for sandwiches, salads and such. Fairly priced for the area and with friendly service. Sure the dishes are not novel in any way, but the sandwich I had (Chick Pea Smash) tasted great with its little touch of pesto and its hummus-not-really-hummus filling. I will definitely try to come back and try something else if convenient.

Vital Foods offers some good food, but I think there are room for improvement. For example the bread seems a bit dry, and the filling in some of the burittos could be more flavourfull.
Read moreAnother downside is that they close early, and are not open at Sundays neither. So you can't have dinner here.
But if you are in to a quick and cheap breakfast or lunch, this is a good place.

I hate chickpeas, I really think they smell like dog food. BUT this chickpea smash was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten (and I eat a lot of sandwiches)!

I had the scrambled tofu bagel and it was really tasty. All the food options sound great and the price is fair for what you get.

These guys have a solid concept. Nice small menu, the 2 breakfast burritos we tried were just perfection. Tasted extremely fresh and excellent flavours. The coffees are just really good. Staff is lovely. The place is super clean and trendy looking. If I lived here it would be my go-to breakfast or lunch on the go place.
