yummy buffet for a fair price

Everything looks and tastes fresh and they refill whenever a dish is empty. There choices include salads, soup, rice, potato and different kinds of vegetables with tofu or tempeh. For 60K it’s a really good deal. In other vegetarian/vegan places in Ubud, you won’t even get one dish for that price.

Pros: many choices , mostly not spicy , even some fruit and a choice of desert

Cheap buffet food

Cheap vegan buffet neat the monkey forest.

Food was yummy but nothing amazing.

Great value as its all you can eat!

We preferred the buffet next door though which is the same price but has more options and was tastier.

Pros: Great value

Cons: Not as good as the one next door

Just right buffet with fruit & water

I came here on 2 occasions as I passed through Ubud. I like it better than the one next door (I actually came here by mistake the first time, thinking that it was the one next door)!
I really liked the simplicity. A few dishes, not quite sure what the sauces/gravy was (except one day the eggplant was sweet and sour) with yellow rice, temple, Veggies, soup and usually 1 type of fruit. Today it was beautiful deep crimson squares of dragon fruit, which I noticed they needed to replace a few times.
The water has mint and some kind of fruit in it and they replenish it as needed, as they do with the dishes. You pay when you're finished at the cashier (next door they jump on you as soon as you enter wanting payment up front.. A very different atmosphere).
It's chilled at Veggie Karma. They have WiFi, a bathroom and a view of trees or street happenings. 59,000idr vegan buffet.
They also have other options on the menu. A fresh coconut is 20,000idr
I enjoyed it both times.
I'd go back.
3.5/5 rating if there was a provision for. 5 ratings

Pros: Simple. Plenty. Tasty. Chilled environment., Great drinking water., Fruit on the buffet. Pretty environment with the T

Cons: More and several types of fruit would be great,, ... But the fruit they have is fine

Good choice

Had the buffet which had good options especially for that price. They had salad, soup different warm dishes and free drinking water. Nothing outstanding but solid good food and a nice location. So if you are hungry go there!

Correct

Good price for a "all you can eat" (59k). But it's a small buffet. The place is nice. Can be too spicy for some people

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Can be cold

Amazing

Was walking past and had to stop. One next door was very busy so we decided on veggie karma, everything was being changed over regularly so the food was fresh. Personally love tempeh and there was lots of it. Plenty of food with good choice. Clean and healthy. Definitely worth a visit. staff was lovely and very cheap!!!

Pros: All vegan , Buffet , Cheap

Not much selection. Nice interior

It's nice but the food is not so flavoursome that I would return. Maybe we got an "off day" but there was not much selection and not much flavour. Once we found the sambal and satay sauce near the salad bar, it was better but these shouldn't be needed to be added, in my opinion. A relaxed interior - sit down the back to get the nature sounds.

Pros: Vegan Buffet and a pleasant interior.

Cons: Taste

Buffet!

It was so satisfying to find a vegan buffet! Lots of protein like tofu, tempeh, beans, etc. Good selection of Indonesian dishes. Go to the back of the restaurant for a garden view. Good price. Going back!

Meh

Disappointed. Went at 6pm. Ordered a la Carte as the buffet wasn’t fresh. The meals taste like they have been cooked in a microwave. Very bland and over heated. Won’t be back. Sad.

Pros: Environment

Cons: Bland food, Lazy service, Overpriced

Spiritually nourishing and healthy vegan buffet

I love this vegan restaurant and the owners Cindy and Alan. They are passionate about serving excellent quality, nourishing and healthy food, free from additives and unnatural flavorings. The food is very pure and easy on the palate and the taste is subtle and clean and easy to gulp down... often times hard to stop eating! There's a great all you can eat vegan selection for 55K IDR. Total bargain! The a la cart is also worth a try with some delicious options. Great for yogis and those looking for a energetically clean diet to support their spiritual practice and lead a healthy life. They also own the Tai Ji wellness centre up Andong road which is well worth the visit. Thanks for some great family times guys! big hugs!

Good dumplings

Fairly vacant restaurant (everyone seems to go next door to Sawobali). Staff did not seem interested in customers. I only had dumplings here - they were pretty good and not that oily. Prices are decent, but just a bit higher than Sawobali which may be why they’re unable to attract that many customers.

Pros: Vegetarian with vegan options, Quiet, lots of available tables, Nice range of vegetarian Chinese dishes

Cons: Disinterested staff, A bit pricey for the quantity of food served

Delicious fresh juice

Escaped the afternoon heat here with a fresh pineapple juice. Ordered without ice, but the pineapple itself was chilled so the juice was perfectly cool and refreshing even without ice. Lovely view of garden and pond from the back. Only negative was the second-hand smoke drifting right at us from 4 tables away.

All you can eat Buffet!

Are there any sweeter words! Majority of the buffet is vegan. (Only thing I was craving that wasn’t, was the Mie Goreng) Definitely worth going here if you want to stuff your face for next to nothing and want to try a good variety of food.

Pros: Majority of the buffet is vegan. , Cheap, All you can eat!

Cons: Mie Goreng not vegan.

Wonderful Buffet - Great value for money

We had the buffet so cannot comment on the menu. Absolutely loved the buffet. Really fresh, healthy and tasty food. The tofu was amazing (we find it is usually the soft watery type in Bali but here it was firm).

Tranquil, peaceful atmosphere in a lovely garden.

There were 10 dishes in total...9 of them were vegan!!

Make sure to use insect repellant at night as I left covered in bites!

Pros: Delicious, 90% Vegan Options, Beautiful / Quiet Restaurant

Good Buffet but had drinks

ordered the buffet (IDR55k), there were eggs in two of the nice dishes. Otherwise the food was good, staff was nice and friendly, ordered the lime but it was mostly soda water and full of ice. this happened twice. i would recommend to stick with the buffet only.

Pros: buffet.

Cons: drinks are expensive and low quality hence the 3 s

This place was amazing. Hands down best veg food I've had in Bali. All you can eat for 55,000. All the dishes were delicious and the staff was very nice. This is the perfect meal after a trek through the monkey forest.

Not that great

Even though the menu offers quite a bunch of vegan options, we found it quite pricey for the local market (50k per dish). Drinks were also not too cheap (35-40). So overall I would definitely not say that this place should be evaluated by one $...
Better choose Sawobali buffet which is like 5 meters away from this place.

Pros: Expensive
