While the menu starts out 100% vegan, they offer dairy cheese as an option. Opposite the big 7/11 in Sairee, this is a western style restaurant serving healthy bowls, shakes, and soft drinks made in-house. Opened Sept 2015. Re-opened at new location November 2016. Open Mon-Sun 11:30am-8:00pm. Hours are flexible - call ahead. Kitchen closes 7.30pm.

Yum! Favorite restaurant on Koh Tao! - Edit
All the bowls we tried have such an interesting and rich variety of flavors! If you’re open for some gustatory adventures this is the place for you! The prices are justified as the bowls have so many different fresh ingredients. Service is quick and very nice. Went there as often as possible during our stay on Koh Tao!

We’ve loved this place so much! Almost went here every day to eat! Make sure to try the wellness bowl or the Japanese bowl. The nutty banana shake is OUT OF THIS WORLD. We had to get it every time. The white cookie with the chocolate chips was so good too. The place is decorated very nicely. Very positive vibes there. Definitely recommend !!!

We went here based on all the amazing reviews and left wondering what went wrong. Staff weren’t friendly at all which set us off on the wrong foot. Both of our bowls were fine but nothing that we couldn’t easily make at home and it was so expensive compared even to other western places in Koh Tao. One good thing about it was the chocolate cookies which really were amazing. But other than for the cookies I definitely wouldn’t go back

I ate here three times during my week on Koh Tao and every bowl I had was amazing. The peanut lime dressing is to die for. They also have vegan cookies most days, unfortunately I didn't try them but they looked really good. Also the place is really pretty and cozy and near the beach. 10/10!!

Vegetabowl is great. Friendly and fast service, great menu options, down a wide but not too noisy side street and colourful decor. I had the veggie quesadilla's with a side of avo, my bf had the Japanese bowl with brown rice. I tried their homemade lemongrass ginger ale, which was delicious and he had a coconut. Fresh delicious meals & snacks from this place, on the shady side of the street, perfect place to chill, cool down and fuel up. Their fresh made Lemongrass Ginger Ale hits the spot. The Quesadillas and Beet Sushi appetizers were to die for. The bowls are great too, a refreshing twist to most of the hot or fried food you'll find on the island. Her snickerdoodle/chocolate chip cookie hybrids were incredible... I could've eaten a dozen!

I came to Vegetabowl two nights in a row, that's how awesome it was! The brown rice bowls were super wholesome and delicious, my favourite was the Mexican as black beans are basically the best things ever! The homemade sauces were to die for. The smoothies/shakes were also delicious filled with creamy fresh local fruit, my favourite being the tropical one with the coconut milk! Definitely check this place out if your on Koh Tao!

I visited Vegetabowl yesterday with a few friends and we all tried something different. All were amazing! I had the dragonbowl. Great variety in the salads and very filling. A perfect dressing to accompany it on the side. The ingredients are really fresh. Looking forward to going back to try the vegan cheesecake or brownie balls. Hope this will be successful and open other branches around the island as we are staying down by Chaalok bay. Good value!

I really didn't expect to come across such a high quality vegan/vegetarian place while on Koh Tao, but am sooo glad that I did. The convenience of finding a place where you don't have to worry about ingredients is such a treat when you're a wandering vegan. Their bowls (and desserts!) are delicious and filling; exactly what you need before a long afternoon of diving.
