While the menu starts out 100% vegan, they offer dairy cheese as an option. Opposite the big 7/11 in Sairee, this is a western style restaurant serving healthy bowls, shakes, and soft drinks made in-house. Opened Sept 2015. Re-opened at new location November 2016. Open Mon-Sun 11:30am-8:00pm. Hours are flexible - call ahead. Kitchen closes 7.30pm.

As for our prices, we do stand behind those because we use quality ingredients (many of which are imported & therefore more expensive than those used in Thai restaurants). Moreover, because we are an island, the cost of shipping to us further increase the price of ingredients, which is why most restaurants on Koh Tao are more expensive than those on the mainland (you can see this in the 7/11s where goods cost significantly more here than on the mainland). If you go to other Western restaurants on the islands, you’ll see that our prices are similar (if not cheaper) than others. Thank you again for your review & feedback 🙏

In my opinion, this is the best restaurant on the island! Others may be a little cheaper but this one offers really tasty, really fresh food. During our stay we tried all smoothies, a few bowles, sides and sushi. Nothing to complain! I loved it and you will too! :)

Vegetabowl left us completely delighted on both visits. The Teriyaki Sushi Burrito was simply incredibly delicious and is an absolute recommendation for every sushi enthusiast. The perfect combination of various ingredients made this dish a true culinary delight.
The Strawberry Sunrise Smoothie and the Wellness Bowl were also outstanding. Fresh ingredients and creative combinations created a taste sensation that surpassed our expectations.
The staff at Vegetabowl also deserves the highest praise. The employees were not only very friendly but also remarkably attentive. The familial atmosphere within the team was evident and contributed to a pleasant ambiance. It was wonderful to see that everyone was working with passion.
The overall atmosphere in the restaurant was truly great, and the food was consistently delightful. Vegetabowl manages to impress not only in terms of taste but also by creating a pleasant environment for guests.

Incredible restaurant. I tried most of the dishes, everything was absolutely delicious. It is a bit pricey (like many places in Koh Tao), but while I oftentimes had to order two dishes elsewhere, here I never felt hungry after eating. Food is also fresh and healthy. One of the best places I have been to in Thailand so far.

We have been in koh Tao for 3 days., We have gone to this place 3 times, will be going back daily.
Read moreWe are a family of six, have been globetrotting through Southeast Asia for a couple of months, vegan for 10 years.
It is hard to please all six members, this place does it beautifully.
We have purchased and loved the following:
-Zen bowl
-Japanese bowl
- Veggie quesadilla (vegan cheese) my younger kids loved these
-Hand rolled mushroom sushi.
-jackfruit tacos
-all of their house made vegan desserts (snickers bar, assortment of chocolate truffles, brownie, etc.)
-house made ginger and lemongrass ale/tea
They can do take away, they have a hard closing time at 7:30 for the kitchen so don’t go too late.
They do put nuts on a few of the bulls, however have omitted them every time I have asked.
Their salad dressings, vegan feta cheese, and homemade hot sauce are to die for!
We feel really good after eating here, we love Thai food however, if you’re venturing away from it, this is the place to go.
Love this place!
