Delicious Vegan Burger - Edit
The Botanical Burger at Umami Burger is truly delicious! A bit pricy as you'd have to order fries additionally, but the taste makes it all worth it! The fries were quite good, but the sweet potato fries were just alright.

Tasty vegan burger - Edit
The botanical burger is delicious, even though a little pricey. It’s the only vegan burger, but if you’re vegetarian you can ask to switch the patty of another burger with a vegan patty.

Expensive but good - Edit
I was able to try the botanical burger set that comes with drink and fries for ¥1,793 with tax. The burger for me tastes really good and seasoned properly. The serving size is pretty big for Japanese standard. It's really filling without it being too hard on the stomach.

Nice, Big Burgers! - Edit
I was very hungry walking into Umami Burger, so unfortunately that meant there was no time to take a photo of the food. Luckily, that didn’t change how delicious it was! The patty was meaty, the burger large and filling, and the fries crispy. The restaurant was easy to find, too. 1F, code G111 on the maps. All around, I have no complaints!

Read more中に入ると、アメリカのレストランのように、セルフサービスのソーダファウンテンがあり、とても感動しました。 残念なことに、注文してカップに入れに行った後に「NO REFILL」の看板を見てしまったのですが......🙄。
そのため、ドリンクの状況は少し残念でしたが、ハンバーガー自体は期待を裏切らないものでした。 ふわふわのバンズから濃厚でクリーミーなマヨネーズまで、どの部分もそれなりに美味しかった。 しかし、私が本当に驚いたのはパティです。 私の予想では、インポッシブルバーガーと同じような味で、肉の味がしますが、インポッシブルよりもさらに厚いのです。 え！？
カリカリのポテトが好きな人にはラッキーなセットです。 ちょっと量が多すぎるかな。 今度来たときは、竜二を連れてきて食べさせてもらおうと思っている。 ハンバーガーセットで1738円と決して安くはないが、残酷さを感じさせない肉厚なハンバーガーを食べたい人にはお得な食事だと思う 👍🏽
As a red-blooded American, I am a huge fan of burgers, whereas Ryuji is not. So I went by myself to the Grandberry Park location of Umami Burger to try their latest offering, the all-vegan Botanical Burger.
I was very impressed when I walked in to see a self-service soda fountain, just like restaurants have in the good old US of A. The endless refills of fountain drinks is one thing I’ve always wished Japan offered. Unfortunately, it wasn’t until after I placed my order and went to fill up my cup that I saw the “NO REFILL” sign 🙄
So the drink situation was a little disappointing, but the burger itself did NOT disappoint. Every little part was delicious in its own right, from the fluffy bun to the thick, creamy mayonnaise. But what really surprised me was the patty. By my estimation it tastes just like an Impossible Burger, with a very meaty flavor, only it’s even thicker than the Impossible! What!
If you like crispy fries, you’re in luck, as the set comes with a very generous portion of them. A little too generous, in fact. Next time I come, I’m bringing Ryuji so he can help me eat them.
At 1738 yen for the burger set, this meal isn’t cheap, but it’s money well spent if you’re craving a meaty burger without the cruelty 👍🏽
EDIT Nov 2, 2020: took off a star because we came for it today and they were sold out. They offered us a salad to eat instead 🥴
