They do it all well!

Two Dollar Radio HQ is a bookstore, cafe, bar, and vegan restaurant - and they manage to do it all really well. The food and atmosphere are always great, and I love that they have a little kid corner that helps keep our toddler entertained.

Pros: Delicious food, Great atmosphere , Kid friendly

Cons: None

All-vegan menu, bookstore and publisher under one roof

This is a unique establishment that houses a 14-year-old independent book publisher (as of 2019), all-vegan menu, café, new books for sale, and gathering place for eclectic book clubs.
The menu has many offerings that use tofu, TVP, seitan and jackfruit as a key ingredient or base. Three menus are available: a main menu with wraps, appetizers, salads, tacos and desserts; a Friday night menu that adds pizza to the mix; and a weekend brunch menu.
The setting is spacious and quiet with old wood floors and high ceilings, all restored beautifully. Lots of different seating areas set apart from one another for privacy. Browsing among the independent published books of the flagship company - Two Dollar Radio Headquarter - is possible as the tables featuring book displays are interspersed with the eating section.
Staff are helpful, friendly, and eager to answer all questions. The restaurant is located on the far edge of one of its historic communities German Village.

Pros: All vegan menu, Lots of choices, Excellent, thoughtful service.

Cons: No off-street parking.

Thank you so very much! We appreciate the kind words. In addition to street parking, the Columbus Metropolitan Library across the street, at 1113 Parsons Ave, has generously allowed our use of their parking lot while they are closed (which is early evenings, and Sunday mornings ).

100% VEGAN & Not Just A Salad!

1st time in today. It was a tasty visit. I was with a carnivore and he liked it too. We split the Buffa-Chicky BLT SammyBarbecue Chick'n Wrap with a side of Chips + Cowboy Caviar. The place was organized, clean and had a lot to offer. Books, Games & Beer! It's not my side of town but we will be back.

Pros: 100% Vegan & Good Vibe, Beer, Books & Games, Great Menu Options & Decent Portions

Excellent food & vibe!

My husband and I stopped in as we were driving through Columbus and we were not disappointed! Being on the road for 2 days from morning until night means a lot of snack foods and subway sandwiches for vegans. It was so nice to take a break and have a break to play scrabble, listen to some music, and eat some nourishing food! He got the chicken sammy and loved it. I got the tacos and loved them as well. The cheese sauce on the tacos was insanely unique and delicious. Highly recommend for a study session or just a break from life! I wish I lived in Columbus so I could chill here all the time!

Pros: All vegan menu, Coffee/alcohol served also, Board games and comfortable atmosphere

Cons: None!

Disappointed

After reading the reviews, I was super excited to try this place. Upon arrival, I was quickly disappointed. We were not greeted when we walked in. I should’ve turned around then. The host/bartender looked at us and continued on with his guests. I was turned off but I was still excited to try the food because of the reviews. The crab cakes and artichoke dip lacked seasoning. I took two bites and could not finish.

Pros: Super cute bookstore/decor

Cons: Food has no flavor

If I lived in the area I would be here all the time! Bartender was phenomenal, food was amazing (try the spinach artichoke dip!) and beer selection topped it off nicely.

nice vibe

I love that this place is in a bookstore. If I lived in the area, I’d probably frequent this place regularly. I had the salad fries (interesting concept - very tasty) and the 88 Miles per hour burrito (perfection!). I enjoyed them both and decided to try the apple cinnamon donut. This was less of a donut and more of a creative take on one. Still tasty once you get past the appearance.

Highly recommend - one of my favorite spots

Awesome staff, great location and the food is fantastic. I stop by here a few times a week and I'm grateful to live nearby. The eggplant sandwich is one of my favorite in Columbus. Did I mention the staff? =]

Pros: All vegan (food, drinks); friendly staff
