I like the unpretentious atmosphere typical of ramen shops here! - Edit
Tsukemen Zuppa is one of the vegan restaurants I want to visit if I have business in Tokyo. Its notable feature is that its prices are more reasonable than other vegan restaurants. But it doesn't have the cheap feel of a chain restaurant, and the careful seasoning and plating of each dish is impressive. Of course, it's also healthy. The customer service is also courteous and excellent. If customers are wondering which ramen they should eat in front of the ticket machine, the owner will come to explain the menu in English.
Read moreI've had the salt tanmen and the soy milk tantanmen. The noodles are thick and filling, but they does not make I feel queasy at all because they does not contain any animal ingredients (I even want to add brown rice into the remaining soup!).
The tsukemen (Chinese noodles accompanied by soup for dipping) was also delicious, and I understanded the meaning of "zuppa". Thus, I recommend it to anyone who is tired of the usual tsukemen, not just vegetarians.
There seem not only limited-time-only menus but also secret menus. (Summer-only chilled curry mazesoba I had was spicy, and so good!)

One of the best ramen I ever had! You can choose from three different soups and than add your toppings as you wish. You can chose extra toppings like egg, seaweed etc.

Really good, Recommended - Edit
Vegetarian/vegan ramen shop near the Suidobashi station. Both the ramen I tried were delicious and quite different. Soy milk tan tan was creamy and the miso one was spicy. Beware to ask the staff to remove egg when giving them the tokens. Highly recommended.

Affordable vegan ramen - Edit
The owner recommended the soy milk ramen and miso ramen. So my boyfriend ordered the miso and I ordered the soy milk. The miso ramen tasted high in sodium so I didn’t like it. At first I didn’t like the soy milk ramen either because it tasted sweet and I prefer savory (I thought I ordered a spicy soy milk ramen). Towards the end of my meal when I nearly finished eating, I started to enjoy my ramen. But it took a while. I would eat here again and try something else.

Cute small restaurant with a passionated owner. The owner did everything and also checked up if we could order through the japanese ticket machine. He was quick and made incredible tasty food. One of the best ramen I've had but probably one of my favorite places in japan!

The best food in Tokyo - Edit
I've been to Tokyo multiple times already, but this is by far the best place to eat I've been to. The owner came out to the vending machine and explained it to us, and he acknowledged my peanut allergy and even asked me if sesame was okay, which it's often not with peanut allergists. The tantan were the best I've ever had.

Really good noodle shop - Edit
All of the dishes are vegan. They cannot get "vegan" status here on happycow because you can order a boiled egg and mayo as side dish, so they remain vegetarian. But other than that: noodles, all sauces, all broths and sides are vegan.
Read moreVery delicious tsukemen (noodles with dipping sauce) was delicious and only 1000 yen. I believe most dishes are under 1000 yen (in the 900 yen range), but of course you can add extra toppings and sides.
It is a very small place (seven seats) but never all full at the same time. Really worth it and I can see why it has an all star rating. There is a huge beautiful park nearby, so it is worth taking the trip here.

Short walk from the Tokyo Dome - Edit
Excited to try a ramen with a soy milk broth.
Read moreSmall shop with a few bar seats available, and you order outside on a machine. Luckily, the owner/ manager? was free because he saw us outside trying to navigate it (everything was in Japanese)and was very nice and helpful and came out to talk about the menu and show us how to order. (Cash only if I remember correctly!)
I got the Spicy Soy Milk Ramen, and my partner got the Miso Ramen. We paid for extra soy meat too, which came on the side.
Unfortunately, it could've just been that we weren't super hungry or something, but we didn't enjoy them as much as the ramen we'd had at another spot. Not bad, but also not incredible. The soy milk one was slightly salty at the end (maybe it was the extra soy meat?) and he felt like his miso one was a tad oily.
Either way, not bad and I'd give it another go if I had more time in Tokyo.
Pros: Interesting flavors
Cons: Order machine

One of the best meals of our lives! - Edit
This ramen was not only the best ramen we (group of 3) have ever had, but also one of the best meals of our lives. The depth of flavor of the broth was unbelievable and the noodles so chewy and perfect! We went there twice and I'll be dreaming of this meal for a long time, for only 900 yen as well! 100% recommended, this place is a must try if you're in Tokyo.
