Fantastic Ramen! - Edit
I had dreamed of authentic Japanese Ramen for months before our trip to Japan. This place lived up to all my dreams. The Ramen was incredible. So good that I bought their Ramen pots to have when we return home. You could go to any of T’s restaurants and get a great meal.

Had to wait outside as there was a queue but the food turned up within about 90 seconds of ordering?? About £6 for a huge bowl of delicious ramen, so currently feeling like a mug for ever going to Wagamama

very delicious and cozy - but difficult to find - Edit
if you want these super tasty food, you have to search like indiana jones.😉but here the advice: check in the JR Lines - not the metro lines. go to plattform 8 and then the stairs up, right the corner. but attention, there are 2 stairways up. you have to test it.

Amazing ramen & gyoza!! - Edit
We waited a little while as it was busy, but the turnover was quick and the food was worth the wait! The staff were helpful with trying to speak English. We had gyoza, the seasonal pink ramen and the golden Sesame ramen. Everything was delicious and good portions!

Casual, super tasty ramen - Edit
Whether you get something light like the yuzu or richer like sesame you can’t go wrong. It’s fully vegan so no option to add that egg for those who partake. They even have a really useful chart for allergies/ menu items.

Except the spiciness ( of the ramen ) it was not a memorable experience.

I had the seasonal menu and it was delicious (gyozas, ramen with roots and rice w/ yoghurt).

Since you need to go into the JR area I am wondering if you can avoid the fee associated with it (paid 150 yen going in/out the same station).

Fantastic as always - Edit
Directions: it’s in the Ecute building, which is within the JR ticketed area. If you get to the station by the Ginza line you’ll need to leave the station and go up the escalators/stairs

You need to enter the station with a ticket or IC card to reach the restaurant (even if you're not boarding a train) but tickets are inexpensive.
Enter Ueno station through Park Gate (from Ueno Park), walk straight ahead and you'll soon see platform 8 to your right. The restaurant is next to it.

Best ramen I tried in Tokyo - Edit
Finding this spot was a bit of an adventure, but absolutely worth it. I’d recommend asking locals for directions. There was a long line, and I waited about 15-20 minutes to get seated, but once I ordered, the service was quick. The ramen was incredibly rich—a true flavor bomb—and the gyozas were just as amazing. Food was a 10/10! I’d definitely come back or try their other locations.

Good vegan food quaranteed - Edit
After having visited the other branch at Tokyo Station, I prefer it to Ueno, but the food was the same. (Tokyo Station felt like it had a bigger menu, but perhaps that is the illusion of a tablet vs. confusingly laid out printed menu.
Read moreHard to find if you enter the Ueno station in the "wrong" place, but worth the search and wait at the door if it's busy.
(It says "Ecute Ueno", which the information boards at the station show - but not How To Get There For Dummies; look to enter through "Park Gate", that is your best bet to not get lost in the maze since I could see it from the restaurant.)
Pros: Food tasted amazing
Cons: Cluttered menu
