This was a nice opportunity to try Vietnamese food in a vegan way. We ordered some small dishes, a big one, dessert and 2 drinks, enough for 2 who don't eat too much.

For such great reviews you would expect more, but the Bun tron was quite tasteless and the noodles were cut in very small pieces. Most of the vegetables in the Flamingo bowl were undercooked.

Really tasty food. Incredibly tasty. We ordered the "soy special" and "To Soecial" dishes. Perfect. But I didn't like the service, it really wasn't a good experience. The attendant spoke good English, but were neither friendly nor attentive. Visa Wise wasn't accepted, so unfortunately we had to pay in cash. Close to the central station (6 minutes' walk to Düsseldorf Hbf). When ordering Vietnamese coffee, be careful to ask for the vegan option. I understand that it's not a 100% vegan restaurant.

Wir haben vor der Hauptspeise noch ein, zwei Tapas als Vorspeise gegessen und fanden die Entscheidung super. Sehr leckere Tofusticks, Gyoza und Chickenwings zur Vorspeise können wir empfehlen. Zur Hauptspeise haben wir uns aufgrund der Geschichte zu Beginn der Speisekarte für die Pho entschieden und sehr genossen. Die Zutaten waren frisch und knackig. Gerne wieder.

Tasty, flavourful, but the portion is rather small - Edit
I had lovely experience with King Bowl: it contains fresh green peppercorns that gives the dish a great kick. My partner ordered Flamingo bowl with udon noodles. Though he liked the taste, he wished there was more of the noodles in this portion. I would advise to ask them extra noodles or rice for the dish to be more filling if you have sportsman hunger.

Ich fange das Essen gut aber als Berlinerin leider nicht hervorragend, ebenso ist der Service solide gut aber auch nicht besonders aufmerksam. Hab durch die sehr hohen Bewertungen irgendwie viel mehr erwartet und war deswegen leider etwas enttäuscht. Der Nachttisch mit dem schwarzen Reis war super lecker. Ansonsten halt viel frittiert, schön angerichtet aber kein aussergewöhnliches Geschmackserlebnis

Gets Old Too Quickly - Edit
The restaurant has its location in the middle of the famous Immermannstreet, which means that it is by default highly frequented and becomes quite crowded.

Unfortunately, and that is just my personal taste, the experience gets old real fast as everything on the menu plays in the same ballpark in terms of flavour and spices. I don‘t feel encouraged to visit often, since I feel like I’ve seen everything they have to offer and it‘s too repetitive, but it is an easy choice considering how close to the central station it is.
If you are only visiting Düsseldorf I personally won‘t recommend it, because most big cities have Vietnamese vegan restaurants like this and some of my friends noticed that the dishes are almost exactly the same every time, so there‘s no idiosyncrasy to this place unfortunately.
Having seats with no backrests is a crime against humanity though and it’s probably my biggest gripe with this venue. You have to be really lucky to get a table assigned, that has a wall behind the seats you can lean against.

Wir haben uns zu zweit 4 Vorspeisen geteilt. Das Essen war nichts außergewöhnliches, aber hat uns gut geschmeckt.

One of my fabourite placed if I want to have a fancy, extraordinary dinner. I recommend trying several small bowls and one main or side dish to share rather than treating the small bowls as starters. Me and my partner have made a point of attempting to try each dish once and we have not been disappointed yet. You will get fresh, flavourful and original meals.

Love the food and the place - Edit
My favourite restaurant in Düsseldorf. Since I was there the first time I felt in love with this special and unique place. They made the food very fresh and tasty. I like the soups, the bowls also the starters and I also love the drinks there as the Vietnamese teas are very nice. Even it is at the main street I felt very comfortable and welcome there. Will definitely come back when I am in Düsseldorf.

This is the second time I have been to this restaurant. The quality is simply great. You can choose small or large bowls. But I always take the small ones so that you can try several dishes. The staff is very nice. But I definitely recommend making a reservation.
