not gonna be my favorite - Edit
went there for dinner, place was full with locals --> high expectations
Read moredid not feel very welcome by staff from the start (no smiles), very hectic and lots of yelling (and yes, quite littered) like I haven't experienced it in any other restaurant in town, but then the only young friendly waitress took care of me and spoke English, so i stayed.
food came out fast, banh bao was fine, first time i had banh nam, which was fun with all the unwrapping but can't really compare if it was good. The Curry I did absolutely not enjoy, and in my two weeks in town it has only been the second time that i didn't like a meal.
I would come back to try other dishes if staff was nicer, but there are lots of other vegetarian restaurants around where I enjoyed my visits more.
Pros: price, location, menu (english, not crazy long, organized)
Cons: most staff unfriendly, littered, hectic atmosphere

local vegan Vietnamese - Edit
A good option if you're looking for a quick lunch and Vietnamese local food. The soup is prepared pretty quickly with pre-made ingredients. It was average. Good price

OK food, but won't go back. - Edit
Ate lunch there today. The place was not very clean. Didn't even clear the dishes from the previous patrons after we sat down. I had a faux pork and noodle dish that was fine. My wife's fried noodle dish was OK as well. Ordered drinks that were never served. After spending a few days in Da Nang, I know there are far better restaurants in town. This one is mediocre, at best.

Quick lunch - Edit
My second visit in a year to this place. Most dishes have mock meat and are prepared with sauces full of msg and aspartame.
Read moreUnfortunately none of the employees speak English. The service is functional at best bordering to unfriendly.
The owner seems to spend most of her time screaming at her staff. Floor is littered with trash.
Not a place I need to visit again.
Pros: Very cheap dishes, VND 25,000 max, English language menu
Cons: Using sauces with msg amd aspartame Poor service N, Floors littered with used paper napkins and food l

Good prices and a great Pho! - Edit
We loved this place! The menu is in English and Vietnamese, lots of traditional dishes with faux meat. Full of locals, lovely staff. We paid 20,000 for a delicious Pho.

Try the fab Banh Xeo! - Edit
Very busy and popular cafe with fast service.
Read moreThe menu has English translations.
The banh xeo is fabulous and the lady showed us how to open the pancakes on the rice paper, add salad and roll them.
We also tried "pork" with noodles, which had a delicious peanutty sauce and came with a cracker (which our meat-eating friend said was a bit like a pork scratching but tastier!).
Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!
Huge portions and very low prices.
Pros: Vegan menu., Some different dishes to try. , Big meal for small price.

Good place with fried pancake tacos - Edit
Nice, simple place. Seems popular with locals. The menu has English translations but the staff don't speak English, however we used Google Translate on our smartphone, which allowed us to effectively communicate without them. The voice function is fantastic, that way no typing is involved.
Read moreThe tastiest dish was the fried pancake. The locals were eating it, so it seems to be popular, and we can see why, it is tasty! It comes with rice paper and salad and a delicious sauce, so you put the fried pancake on the rice paper and put greens and sauce on top and roll that into a taco. Mmmmm!

MASSIVE portions! - Edit
Ate here couple days in a row. Big hearty portions. About 20k per dish/plate with a selection of drinks available as well. Pretty central location. Near the 3 way intersection at Nguyen Van Linh street and Hoang Dieu. Lots of staff. I was approached by many lottery ticket vendors which may get annoying if you don't like that. Pretty busy street as well. The place is quite spacious and popular with locals.
Read moreA cool but unexpected surprise was that they have WiFi and electricity outlets at all tables.

no gluten free - Edit
My wife and I went to Thuy today, but left after it became apparent that they could not provide food that was both vegan and gluten free.

Great food - Edit
We have been here once, and the food is really good! We got the banh beo, bao, pho, and noodles. All were very good! The staff does not speak English but there is an English translation on the menu. The staff is not very friendly, but it was really crowded, so I'm not sure if it was a one off thing.

Decent, cheap - Edit
The menu is only two pages long so not that much choice but it's pretty good and cheap. I had a vegetarian roast chicken which would be five stars by itself but unfortunately it only comes with plain rice and no sauce or anything, so I ended up with half of the rice still left when the chicken was gone. The noodle dishes are nice but nothing too special. I'd recommend the Cao Lau.
Read moreThe waitress on both days we went seemed quite emotionless which doesn't bother me but makes you think she doesn't enjoy working there.

The Best Vegan Food in DaNang - Edit
The food here is amazing! I ate there 4 days in a row. The pho is fabulous. The curry is mildly spiced and complex. The portions are hearty. Everything is super fresh. They have an extensive menu with English translations (not a lot of English speakers working there). The prices are beyond reasonable and it's easy to find. What more could you ask for?!

Excellent Food in a Pleasant Setting - Edit
I was delighted to find Quán Chay Thúy in central Da Nang. A pleasant, clean setting and friendly staff made for an agreeable atmosphere, and the food was a delightful combination of fresh, diverse, and delicious. I tried several noodle dishes and thoroughly enjoyed each one's distinct blend of flavors and faux meats. Prices are very affordable, and I came away very satisfied and happy to have found a new favorite.

Nice And Tasty - Edit
Nice local Vietnamese restaurant. Ordered two dishes, one with rice and one with noodles. For a cost of $2 (for two dishes!) we had a nice and tasty lunch.

Delicious vegan food, a wide array of options. Incredibly inexpensive, too! Easy to find with helpful and kind English speaking staff. No English menu, but simply go with the staff recommendations!
