Amazing!

Over the years I have been disappointed by Hobart’s vegetarian and vegan options, but The Little Poet changed all that. The food was exceptional and with separate vegetarian and vegan menus it was easy to order a meal with confidence. Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Lovely setting. I wish the owners much prosperity.

Pros: Vegan menu and vegetarian menu, Great variety , Value for money

Cons: Not enough time in Hobart to eat here more than o

My Shangri-la

Found my Shangri-la away from home. It's a vegetarian patisserie in downtown hobart called The Little Poet. Featuring a big vegan menu, smooth jazz and good vibes.

Had the vegan egg and bacon toast, truffle fries and deep fried cauliflower with housemade soda

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Fantastic decor and atmosphere, Excellent location

Cons: Got stung for a parking ticket while here!

A must visit

Very cute inside - super relaxed. I had the vegan eggs Benny. Really delicious! My only advice would be to order some sides. It’s very reasonably at $12 and therefore for big eaters like myself needs to bulked out a little! I won’t make that mistake tomorrow when I return!! The chia is served in these cute bear cups which I loved! Definitely give it a go

Pros: So many vegan options , Cute , Atmosphere is so nice

Cons: Order sides if a big eater

A must visit.

Truly incredible. If I lived in Hobart I would go every day. The styling and atmosphere are reminiscent of cozy cafes in Japan. The food is incredible, I could eat everything on the menu multiple times over. If you can get there on a Saturday, please do, and try their bubble tea. We had the bacon and egg on toast, the eggs benedict, the ham and cheese bagel, the banana crepes, the TGY tea and the vegan cheesecake. All to die for, all 10/10.

Pros: Everything

Vegan croissants!!! 😍😍😍

Such a cute little place that only opened 3 months ago!! I got very excited when I found out they had vegan croissants ( which are delicious). They also have vegan waffles, macaroons, etc and the atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. 100% recommend 😊

Pros: Everything

Cons: None

Amazing vegan options

Great cafe with a full vegan menu, food is amazing and has a great atmosphere, meals are on the smaller side however we ordered a starter to share main, coffees and a cake to share and were quite full. Highly recommended.

Pros: Full vegan menu with lots of tasty options, Plenty of cakes, Cauliflower wings

New vegan/vegetarian cafe

New cafe in Hobart, lovely decor and quiet atmosphere (in old sirens restaurant). Friendly staff and great to have a vege option for breakfast but too expensive with small portions (half the plate spinach leaves). To succeed will need to reduce prices and increase portions
