yes yes yes. loved the vibes of the restaurant with all the plans. the staff was lovely, and the food delicious. i love udon pretty much no matter what, and these were no exception. the noodles were suuuper tasty and had a great texture. the addition of the vegan duck was phenomenal. they also made a créme brûlée for dessert that tasted great and had a fantastic smooth and firm texture. exactly what i was craving.

Menu features a number of starters and mains from various countries in the South East. A mix of Vietnamese, Indonesian and Thai cuisine. I had the Pad Thai, which was nice and a large portion, the highlight was actually the tea with fresh ginger, lemongrass and mint.
Read moreService was disorganised, so our large group got to order and receive drinks and food at different times, some items didn’t turn up and others got charged incorrectly.
The interior is very nice and pleasing and the location is good. So perhaps in a smaller group everything would be just fine. #Veganuary

Der Service war sehr freundlich und das Essen extrem gut. War drei Tage in der Nähe in einem Hotel und bin gleich zwei mal dort essen gegangen. Am zweiten Tag wurde ich schon erkannt und hab mich dadurch sehr wohl gefühlt. Immer wieder gerne!! 😄

It wasn't easy communicating with staff, as I speak zero German and their English was less than stellar. However, I was able to tell they didn't recommend any particular dish; in their view, it was all equally good. I went for dichter der wälder (udon noodles with silky (really?) tofu, mushrooms and radish in a creamy truffle sauce) and it was fine. Had I known the dish featured edamame I would have requested that they be replaced with another ingredient, as I find them boring as well as ubiquitous. My cousin, who's married to an Indonesian, clarifies that chopsticks aren't common in that area. Be it as it may, I liked the dish but not as much as I did the lemonade. It's funny, I rarely order drinks other than water, but this one, perhaps because it was a hot, sunny day, turned out to be the highlight of my meal.

Dichter Der Wälder - Edit
3.5, but I'll put 4 because I'm hoping it was just an off day. The Dichter Der Wälder dish is definitely the highlight, 5/5. The noodles are delicious, and the broth has a rich flavor. Enough mushrooms and tofu for every bite, too!
Read moreThe starter I got, Bo Bia, was a 3/5. This was a simple summer roll plate but just not fresh enough, and I wish I didn't order it. The lettuce and other ingredients tasted a bit old.
Service could improve, no one checked back in on us, no water refills, etc. The two people working there were watching videos on a phone, not really paying attention to the restaurant.
The decor is beautiful here, though, and there's ample seating both indoors and outdoors

With so many Vietnamese restaurants in Berlin it was great to find an Indonesian influenced restaurant. We had the gado gado bowl and an udon bowl with creamy truffle sauce. The gado gado bowl was just alright, we really enjoyed the other one, especially the sauce. The decor is lovely and the staff were very friendly.

Lovely Indochinese vegan restaurant - the food was really nice and the atmosphere was great! We had a couple of starters and mains and we were really impressed - everything was delicious. On the playing field of the better vegan asian restaurants in Berlin (Soy, Feel Seoul Good, 1990, etc), TFIUTY is on the same level when it comes to quality and price. Nothing to set them apart from the rest, but you won't be disappointed.

First night in Berlin and looking for warming comfort food and this hit the mark! Absolutely delicious food - the satay skewers were so rich and flavourful. The dim sum crisp with aromatic savoury filling. The Nasi Goreng, Ducker and Kimchi were wonderfully spiced and balanced. The coconut broth with the Ducker was delicious. Absolutely worth a visit. Huge portions as well. Great value for money!

First time in Berlin. Was stoked to see what the vegan capital of the world was all about. Came here randomly off a google search and I swear I’ve only been this impressed a couple of other times. I mean I got some skewered saté and the Soulmate (noodle bowl) and I was blown away. I mean the flavor pallets were so bold, I wish I wasn’t full so I could keep eating! Paired my meal with the autumn leaves herbal tea. Just wow. One day I’m bringing the whole squad to Berlin with me and this is DEFINITELY gonna be stop number one!

Let’s be real. Great service in Berlin is hard to come by, but the service here was excellent. The ambiance is also very nice, full of green plants and basket lighting. The food was also excellent. Highly recommend!
