There are only 3 types of tacos that are vegan, but holy cow, do they deliver. The tortillas appear to be made fresh and are absolutely delicious.

Great vegan tacos and guac and horchata! - Edit
Lovely small spot with helpful staff. They have excellent handmade corn tortillas! And the guacamole, chips/salsa, and three vegan tacos on the menu. The horchata tasted freshly handmade too.

Best tacos in Mérida - Edit
This restaurant is a tiny hole in the wall and the staff spoke no English, but the vegan options were clearly marked on the menu so it was still easy to order by pointing at what we wanted. (Also: Not their fault that we don’t speak Spanish!)

Our New Favorite - Edit
As others have mentioned, they have 3 vegan taco options and they are all fantastic. The seating is pretty bare bones however the service is top notch and the prices are extremely reasonable. We have been told that the corn used on the guacamole and corn tacos is cooked by some slow process and it makes for an amazing taco. This is now our "go to" choice in Mérida when we want delicious food at an extremely fair price.

Delicious vegan tacos - Edit
I had three different vegan tacos (they are clearly marked in the menu) as well as a roasted onion with salt and lime juice as an appetizer. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the place itself has a very no-nonsense, local vibe. I heartily recommend it!

There are three vegan variations, all of which are extremely tasty. Overall, the second best tacos I've had in Mexico so far. The variations were unusual and weren't just grilled vegetables pastor-style. My companion ate tacos with meat, none of which were convincing, so the vegan versions are also recommended for meat eaters!

The venue is a basic plastic chairs and tables authentic taqueria vibe, which was exactly what we were looking for. I had the mushroom and garlic tacos and the guacamole with corn tacos. I also had the lemonade which was very refreshing. The waitstaff were very friendly and you could see that the restaurant was a favorite among locals and tourists; vegans and non-vegans alike.

There are 3 clearly labeled vegan options. I tried the corn/guac and the chaya tacos. Both were top notch. I also liked their horchata. Would love to try the vegan apps too! Watch out for the flirty waiter!!

Perhaps the best no-nonsense tacos in Yucatan - Edit
Small, busy, no frills canteen style place with plastic chairs and plastic table cloth. 3 types of vegan tacos available: esquited, spinach pumpkinseed, and mushroom. They come with sauces and pickled onions in a tortilla that's beyond perfect. You're getting yourself into an earthy, juicy, well-seasoned mess crying tears of joy and chillies. Some locals came just after the kitchen closed and they loudly sighed and moaned in disappointment which should explain all.

Found this place on lonely planet as a cheap option to eat. I was ready to ask for changes to the options available, as usual, but was surprised by a section of vegan tacos that turned out to be the best ones I had in yucatan - including the ones in vegan diners across the peninsula.
